The one and unique God - The Creator of universe.
Human societies called him with different names but He has no NAME.
We may call him with any good name like Elohim, Yahweh, El, Ellei, Allah or God! But non of them is his real name since he has no name.
Moses asked name and He told him "I AM WHAT I AM" - means NO NAME!
Who is the God?
Listen what God says in Quran:
Surah Jonah;
10:31. Say: "Who is it that sustains you (in life) from the sky and from the earth? Or who is it that has power over hearing and sight? And who is it that brings out the living from the dead and the dead from the living? And who is it that rules and regulates all affairs?"
They will soon say, "(Allah)". Say, "will ye not then show piety (to Him)?"
10:32. Such is Allah, your real Cherisher and Sustainer: apart from truth, what (remains)
but error? How then are ye turned away?
10:33. "Thus is the word of thy Lord proved true against those who rebel:Verily they will not
believe".

Depends which translation you read but in English
Exodus 6:3 KJV , not the new one but old one, NWT, and a few others and also
Psalms 83:18 It is JEHOVAH. its hard to read the original 4 tetragrammaton hewbrew characters but bible scholars have translated this.

Probably one he took from his home country, likely the god El. Also, very likely a different god from the later god of Moses and the Christian religion.

GOD told Moses to tell the people "I AM". There is only one GOD but HE has many names throughout the Bible.
