Last year supermarkets we're selling 2 bottles of spirits cheap.This year not seen any.Have
the gov asked them to not do it.Stopping our fun
for the pc brigade.

They are doing 2 for £20 in both Tesco and Sainsburys.

No - the supermarkets themselves decided not to do it this year. Usually they choose alcohol as the loss leader, reducing it to below profit margin levels so that you go in and do all your xmas shopping there. All the supermarket chains have been watching one another to see if anyone is going to do it. But because one hasn't none of them will!!

I can buy two litre bottles of vodka , rum or whiskey for £18 in our local asda so dont think the gov are doing anything at the moment.

I think that Sainsbury's have just had a buy two for one, or at a reduced rate on a few spirits. I've also heard that the Co-Op are doing two for £16...

..so No.

Alcahol is being rationed out now! Its so ridiculous..its the season to be jolly and how are we going to do that without cheap spirits???

Dunno, but if it stops my work colleagues getting the living piss beaten out of them by drunken teenagers when they are trying to do their job, I couldnt give a damn. I'll pay extra for that.
