Medical textbooks are fascinating if you wonder how the body works and what can go wrong with it. Internal medicine (my former specialty) is like detective work - - trying to use the clues to solve the mystery of what is wrong with a person who has symptoms. That part is fun. [The "business" side is not fun.]
I retired from internal medicine, hematology and oncology to become a college history teacher. History was always my hobby. Now I make a little money teaching and writing.

I've always wondered how anyone could read LAW?
I don't think I could ever be interested in reading law - but obviously some people like it.
