There are all kinds of substances or even activities that don't produce withdrawl, but can be fatally addictive. There are whole cities dedicated to gambling, which can be a killer. The number of people who die of aspirin every year is amazing. 95% of people do not get addicted to, or even care for the effects of alcohol or heroin.

I've done a fair amount of MDMA in the past and so had the social group I was with and so can comment on this. The thing is though that people who use MDMA usually use other substances at the same time and rarely what you get is pure MDMA anyway its usually cut with other drugs or fillers...so, my experience is coloured with the other chemicals that were involved.
From my experience of pure MDMA its a very clean experience with little come down after. Long term use of this stuff and this lifestyle I can tell you isnt good. One friend got a palsy (like a small stroke), I heard voices in my head like I was overhearing a convesation - just happened once - in the library, paranoia is a big one and I have a suspicion its linked to depletion of serotonin levels - depression.
All in all I dont regret using MDMA one little bit it changed my view of everything totally and brought love and spirituality into my life in a huge way.
I dont use any drugs now..or smoke..or drink coffee..!
