Technically how would you determine too much, According to Sue on "Talk Sex with Sue" on Oxygen TV Sunday nights there is really no norm for masturbation. Some people do it several times a day and some people wouldn't touch themselves at all. Unless you are affecting your work or school, or you rub yourself raw what ever you do is just a preference. Many people call into the show asking if 5 or 6 times a day is too much, her answer is always the same 'it depends on the individual circumstances.'
There will always be some one who will say ANY is bad...for them that might be true. But for your self if you have normal interactions with people, can work or go to school and get what ever job or stuff done that is required of you you private time is your biz and if you enjoy it and it isn't causing problems then it is not TOO much....

Only if it intefears in your daily life like you would rather do it than go to work. THe worst that happens is your a little sore or some skin irritation same goes for women. On the plus side if your a guy they say more masturbation the better it lowers the risk for prostate cancer.

Masturbating (note correct spelling here) is not bad for you. It's a normal part of your own sexual experience. It is meant to be enjoyed. There is nothing wrong with it. I never know how much "too much" is, so I can't address that part of the question.

it is not bad to masterbate, it is bad to have lust, the bible says it is better to marry than to burn-in lust..
Some will say if it takes the place of sex out of marriage it is bad, yet sex out of marriage will destroy a persons relationship with Jesus.
once i was addicted to it and porn and lust in relationship, but Jesus set me free so I can find the right one to marry for life.
