don't look for help here. search for a 350z forum or a g35 forum and get help there, they may already have writeups on how to do this.

Just exactly what 350Z motor are you trying to use. The HR 2005 anniversary motor and manual trans 2006 and up has four sensors in the back of the heads two green and two black. The 2004 motors are exactly alike. But if you thought you wanted the 300 hp motor you will need the extra sensors and ECM and wiring harness then hope all that will properly talk to the imobilizer BCM and transmission controls. Are you using an automatic? If so the automatic migh have problems with the engine torque. 2004 G-35 Have intake camshaft timing controls the 350z HR motor has a extra exhaust cam sensor in each head and exhaust cam timing control too. So different ECM and Engine Harness.

Why are you putting a 350z motor in a G35? They are basically the same motor anyway. Like someone said there are different variants of the same motor though. The original VQ35DE, VQ35DE 'Rev-up' (300hp motor) and the newer VQ35HR.

Don't do it. Consequences could be extreme.
