Sorry but there really isn't any better picture unless you see the music video, the video moves fast.

Anyways, when I saw this I totally fell in love with it. It looks like a really pretty idea. I want to string pearls on my ears like she does, but how exactly? Are there special chains or special thread I can get that are safe for that? Because if I were to do it I'd have it like that all the time, not just a little while.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks for the info so far, but one more thing!

Do you think this would work with cartilage too? If it works, I'd like it to go all the way up my ear.

if you did it all the way up, with string like that, unless the holes were very well healed the skin could grow around the string and they would literally be permanent adornments

You would need to wear earrings with thick posts to widen the holes in your ears. Then go to a craft shop and buy needles with blunt tips and the thread used to string pearls.

I would get someone else to do the stringing though.

probably thread w. a wax coating would work...if you dont have your ears gauged or anything though it may hurt.
