How to convince parents to let you get your bellybutton peirced????

How do you convince yur parents to let you get your belly button peirced thres this chick at school and she has one and i had wanted one before she got it done but now i want one even more.

I cant wait till im 18.

Well, it depends on how old you are. Younger than 16 and I would really sy you don't need one. They are meant to be shown off and a young lady really shouldn't be showing that part off. Shoot...even a 16 yr old.... Unfortantly the pants styles anymore mean that they sit lower.

What are your parent's feelings on body piercing in general? Don't start by telling her that some girl at school got one or else you will get the " and if all your friends jumped of a bridge would you do it too?" speech. Those are no fun.

Let her know that a piercing isn't permanant, you will keep it clean, as instructed, and if it shows any signs of getting infected you will take it out. Let her know that you want to be a responsible young adult about it and do it safely and with her permission. Make sure you can back up your cleanliness with keeping your room/bathroom clean, chores done...that stuff. If you don't then you will never convince her you can clean your piercing regularly...

Offer a trade off.....you will agree to do such and such if she will allow you to get the piercing. Be prepared to do what you promised BEFORE you get the piercing and not after (just in case you "forget" to follow thru) or she may not believe you next time you try and work something out.

Belly button piercings aren't pretty. It's for girls who show their stomach a lot, and that means whore.. Stop trying to be an adult, cause you obviously aren't. Stop trying to be part of the crowd, just cause it's "cool" cause it isn't. Be original. Just cause your friends are getting one shouldn't mean you want one. That's ridiculous, and that's called being a FOLLOWER. Not a leader, like you should be.

I am 13 and ive had my belly done for 3 months now x just say i have wanted it done for so long and now everyone has it done but me x just say it can be hidden and removed so i dont see a problem x good luck

Having a belly button piercing dose not make you a whore and people who are saying don't show that part of your body.. It's your stomach calm done. If you want the piercing go and get it. A piercing dosent define who you are and does not make you a whore. You do you boo!! Go get your belly button pierced 😘

hmm you have to be 18 that sucks. where I live its 16 for piercings. And my parents didnt want me to get it either but I did anyways and when they found out it was like..whatever you already have it done.

Please, don't convince your parents to pierce your belly button. Trust me, I have had almost every facial piercing (septum, eyebrow, nose, lips, etc) and I regret it. It makes you look 100% like a retard or a skank. No one wears belly shirts anymore unless if they're still stuck in the 1998 era.

dont get one. you will regret it in the future. once you have kids your stretch marks will be nasty and even worse because of the belly button ring. even if you took of the belly button ring for several years it would still show
