I never knew that psoriasis could mean you have liver issues. I eat well eat almost squat red meat work out lots of fiber, all the good stuff, but still psoriasis is on my scalp. I remember seeing purple spots on my wrist, especially after I drank. I see them even when I dont drink but not very often. I figure they must be liver spots though I dont know. What type of test should i take to make sure my liver is okay? And if I find a shampoo that wil make my psoriasis go away, does that mean my liver starts to get better?

i have psoriasis and it does have something to do with the liver. but mainly it affects the immune system. drink cranberry juice and eat everything that boosts up your system like green veggies.
for your scalp, if you don't have a prescription try Scalpicin that can help the itch and flakes.
if you have anymore questions about psoriasis feel free to email me anytime. i've had this for quite sometime and i know alot of tricks to keep it under control.

Very good treatment for scalp psoriasis is offered by http://www.champori.com Works better than anything else for me anyway: I haven't had a relapse in more than a year now after only a couple weeks of treatment. And it is natural (herbal), too.
As to the liver connection: nobody knows for sure.
Best,
Bernadette

Best to talk to your doctor - the liver affects almost every part of your body and you don't want to mess around with it. Liver function is measured by a blood test - if you're concerned you can ask for that to be done. I didn't know there was a correlation between the liver and psoriasis, but just realized my aunt has psoriasis really bad & her liver is shot - how weird!
