My roomies think my cleaning habits are inadequate but choose now to tell me at the end of the lease agreement.

They say to tell me i'm doing an inadequate job would be holding my hand, is it?

No- if there is a problem like that, it needs to be discussed as the problem arises, not after an extended period of time. All that not saying is thing does is let it build up, so that they constantly get annoyed about it and... probably talk about you behind your back bitching to each other because of it. It's only going to allow for a hostile environment by not talking about it.

I see your point, but have you considered the possibility that they didn't bring it up because they didn't want to make things uncomfortable for all of you long before the lease was up? There would be tension in the house, you could be uncomfortable, they could be uncomfortable, and your stuck with living in that situation, or breaking the lease.

Nobody likes a slob Harold, have you ever tried to get a woman in the mood with laundry everywhere, dishes in the sink and a dirty bathroom. Thats a lot of booze. You dont have to be a neat freak but do clean up after yourself. I would have kicked your butt until you cleaned up.

In a share house situation, cleaning is NOT a matter to be left unsaid.

If they didn't like your cleaning, they should have spoken up and given you a chance to discuss it.

You can find a better place to live than this!

Best wishes :-)

IT's hard for them to tell if you like it when they do tell you. So they rather take the easier route of getting rid of you at the end of the lease.

Seems fishy. If your cleaning was so bad, why did they live under those conditions the whole time?

what? no... its not holding your hand. they are rude people, thats all.... they would rather sit around and talk about it behind your back than tell you to your face when it was first noticed.

my advice... get away from these people.
