Yes. Evolution is a genetic change, adaptation is not.

depends on you actually.

people will say its all evolution. some wont.

some will say macro vs micro. some will say theres no division.

so the answer starts with you deciding who you find credible.

in this concept, you have to realize that it really doesnt matter.

how did the atom evolve?

did you read genesis? did you notice God commanded the water and the land to produce the creatures rather than telling them to come out of nowhere?
that sounds like abiogenesis already doesn't it?

anyways, it doesnt really matter if you believe in it or not. what matters is how you live your life.... KNOWING THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING, STARVING, DYING and being slaughtered all over the planet.

what are you going to do about it?

people say you don't need God to be a Good person, well are you an example of this or what?

Adaptation is a mechanism of evolution. Through adaptive radiation, natural selection of heritable adaptations may lead to the evolution of new species. However, there is also physiological adaptation which has no evolutionary association (for example, putting on extra fat in a colder climate).

The term 'evolution' is ambiguous, which leads to a lot of equivocation.

Adaptation is a process whereby characteristics are chosen via natural selection.

Speciation is the process whereby two or more isolated groups of the same species cease to be so.

Evolution can refer to either process, both processes together, or is sometimes used in place of either to imply that there is no distinction.

when i talk about evolution, the females were self reproducting few million years back. the evolution took place and the male female sexual interaction was required for child birth.

now, when i talk about adaptation, i will give example of gays. it is not evoluted but adapted, but too long an adaptation might turn into evolution, there is a chance that gays having children few million years from now on
