I heard dont say Mosque because (from what I remember) in history some crazy king guy used it as a deregatory term to say that he would swat the Muslims out like mosquitos. So just say Masjid, if anything =) *peace*

Masjid is proper name of worship for Muslims.
The place where Humans do sijda, means touches their heads on ground to show humbleness in front of our Creator, Creator of universes without partnet, and sole master of every thing, The God Almighty, Allah, Elohim, Elah, Elaei.
Jesus also worshiped to God Almighty same way as Muslims worship today.

Matthew 26:39.
""Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will." "

40. Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. "Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?" he asked Peter.
41. "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."
