I just don't understand how people can say they don't live in a free country, and say how much they HATE it here, but won't even consider leaving. If you would mention leaving to them, they play it off and call you bigot, or close-minded. So what do they really looking for? I know many people who say how much they LOVE America, and leave to protect it..

see i cant speak on behalf of everyone who talks crap about this country...

I talk crap all the time.. And its not cause im a traitor... I am an Ex marine and a patriot all the way... but my loyalty is always to OUR PEOPLE not our government.... Dont forget who your loyalty should be to..... its not the flag. its what the flag represents.... OUR PEOPLE.....

and when i talk crap about my nation its because I KNOW WE CAN IMPROVE... WE are the best nation on this planet.... but we DO NOT work as a team... and as a result we are not as great as we should be... our own automaker companies screw us through bad cars or helping laws get passed that are in their favor and not the peoples...

see and another thing is u need to learn what freedom is... REAL freedom!!
Naturaly we cannot have absolute freedom cause it will be chaos but theres a point when too much freedom is missing... and in the last decades theres been constant pushing to transfer power in this country... and constant LYING to our people... how could u deny that? and how could u support it...

see u have to understand.. this is a free country... if someone talks **** about our country... u know what smile... shake ur head and walk away..... smile because u know we have the freedom to BE ABLE to talk bad about our nation and walk away because u know that person cannot force their opinion on you.

Long live America.

Well here are some reasons I hear people in America, hate America.

A. White people are in the majority, and European culture is represented and "forced" onto non-whites every single day. <--- Although this could not be true, of the 48 countries in Europe, only one European culture is largely emphasized.

B. Because it was "built on the backs of slavery and oppression". <---Never mind the European servants that were here first. America could have been fine without slavery. People at that time just didn't prefer what they had and wanted more physical labor.

C. Because evil whitey stole the land from the Natives. <---Never mind the fact that the Natives stole each others land, raped and murdered one another before we ever got here, and umm, also that Europeans as a whole did not come over and steal the land. Like I said, 48 European countries, and yet all are blamed.

D. People dislike our government and feel special when they rebel.

There are a lot of reasons people living here dislike this country. But though I don't think America is a perfect country, I love America.

It's crap for minorities to babble on about things like slavery when whites helped house escaped slaves (which punishment consisted of being hung if they housed them) and many people died in pursuit of helping escaped slaves. Many people speak against the people who fought for their freedom to give them a right to sit there and be racist or hateful against them.

I could go on and on. But to the idiots rambling about how they hate America and blah blah, I wish they'd just get out. If I hated America, I'd work toward obtaining citizenship in a European country of my heritage, like Switzerland or Germany or something. I'm proud of my heritage but I love this country. Some times I think people are given a little too much freedom. They abuse it daily and walk all over the backs and slander the people who gave them those rights.

Where are they going to go? How are they going to get there? Most that are unhappy can't afford the bill of moving else where and starting over. Sure it's easy to say, if you don't like it leave, but it isn't so easy to do.

I have to admit, while I love my country, I am getting tired of the overbearing legislation. We used to be the land of the free. That much is true, but now we have the local govt telling us what kind of cars we can drive, what kind of houses we have to build, if we can buy alcohol, how many pets we can have, must pay extra if they aren't spayed/neutered, etc.

Would you believe a friend of mine's husband got a ticket for parking his car in front of their house?? They said it was an "eyesore"! What's next? It's getting ridiculous. The government, local, state, and federal needs to butt out of our lives and focus on more important things such as, oh, I don't know... perhaps crime? Better schools? Not wasting our tax dollars? Helping the mentally ill instead of turning them loose to roam the streets as our homeless??

People need to get a grip, as well as their priorities straight.

America was created by endless numbers of people over several centuries who for one reason or another, didn't like it back home and wanted to go somewhere else, where they could create a better life for themselves and their families. Old habits die hard, obviously enough. No one here is ever satisfied with the status quo and America continues to evolve as a result. It makes for a vibrant creative society, but not always a comfortable one. It reminds me of the line from The Third Man, where Harry Lime says that centuries of social strife in medieval Italy led to the Renaissance and the outburst of art and science. Whereas several centuries of peace and quiet in Switzerland, led to the invention of the cuckoo clock.

It's hard to leave the home you have been born to. But it's not hard to watch it deteriorate in astonishingly huge ways and not develope a hate syndrom for something that you used to love and enjoy living in.
All your goodies are here, including your friends, family.
Where ya gonna go cow boy?
We let ANYONE in for free or pay em' to stay but you won't find that in any other country.
Last time I checked I thought the USA was a and of law and order. NOT the case now. That qick check is enough to make the most ardent of lovers ...start to hate whomever he can finger as the responsible party.

I don't live my life in hate.
But I spend a lot more of my time trying to convince myself of that, than anytime before.

I'd like to see those people try to survive in a third world country. Funny, how its American-born Acitizens who talk so much crap about the USA, and so many people all over the world would give anything to be here because it means freedom and opportunities.

Isn't the point of living in a free country being able to express that hatred?

They are hurting themselves by this behavior so I'm glad they're doing it. It's getting the attention of this country and people are waking up and realizing the magnitude of the problem. America is fed up and is demanding that our government enforce our laws.

staring on the kaos with those elections, do you particularly think of thins is a physically powerful thought? besides, whether they had human beings elect, we'd nonetheless have approximately 50% disagreeing on it. judgements like this are supposedly why our elected leaders are in Washington. it may be effective in the event that they listened to us.

most people that talk this type of trash are parochial at best and have no idea what it is like to live in a country where you have little or no civil rights.in fact they couldn't even express these opinions in 2/3 of the worlds countries.
