life was discovered on another planet, or proof of ufo's were found. what would christians think about that. god has another playground, or test case, or experiment or whatever life means to God. would it upset christians to know that we are not exclusive? would proof of other life change your belief system?

I cant believe the answers on here. The bible specifically mentions some of Gods other life forms He has created.
We should expect to discover extraterrestrial life forms, some of them are described in the bible, and who knows what else He has created that is not mentioned.

You say what would "Christians" think if....
Not any one Christian is the same. Christian's beliefs are based on the Bible's teachings. The Bible says nothing about life on another planet. It would be impossible to predict how people of a faith would react to that discovery. So you're not going to get an accurate answer because everyone is going to have a different one. That's like asking what will "people" think about life on another planet. Or what will "females" think... .or "men" think.

I don't think it would be upsetting that we're not "exclusive" any more than it would upset "human" in general.

The Christians would simply reinterpret the Bible to make it compatible (this is what they did when they could no longer claim the Earth isn't flat and is what they will eventually do when they inevitably lose the War on Evolution). If the beings over there are sentient, they will probably try to convert them to Christianity (and of course, any aliens would probably have their own religions, so they would probably not be very successful).

Im wondering why this question is directed only at christians? Would christians react differently to life on other planets, than say ..non christians? I think everyone, christian or not, would be a bit shocked by that. Im a christian, I'd be surprised, but its not like I'd feel betrayed by God for having life on other planets. I'd chalk it up to one of those things that we didnt know about because we didnt need to.

I believe we are not alone this universe. So what if God has another planet where He created Life. He is allowed to do that after all. God Bless You.

It is written that God scattered man to the fartherest reaches of the universe, and also in the end of days His angels would gather them from the far reaches of the universe. God is Life. What is there to upset except the vanity of one's mind.

I don't think the Bible says that we are God's ONLY creations. I think it would be awesome if life were proven somewhere else. I don't really think it will, because I don't think God wants his other creations infected by our madness, but I could be wrong too.

Read the Bible! Earth is rounded, String theory is true, U.F.O does exist! TV is poisoning your head. Christians are not that dumb as you like to believe.
