Depends on the time of day it was deposited and the bank.
It should show tomorrow, but may nt be available for several days (until it clears the bank it was written on).

Depending on who issued the check and the federal bank district of the bank on which the check was drawn, the clearance can be anywhere from 1 day to 3and 1/2 days. Many banks no longer return checks with statements so turnaround time has speeded up so that individuals and businesses can no longer use the "float"( that is the in transit money yet to be recorded). A drawn check should appear on your statement within 2 days and a deposit check( depending on where it originated) should clear in3 days.

Well that all together is a problem with your bank. Obviously that have place a hold on your check. You have to call them and find out how long the hold was for. Because in banks, checks don't show up in your account when they have cleared the other bank. They funds become available when your bank decides to release the funds to you. Normally paychecks aren't held so you might want to have a little chat with you bank representative.

Most bank's cut off date is around 3:00 p.m. to show up the next business day. If you deposit on a Friday afternoon say after 3:00, then it is usually the following Monday before it shows up on your account.

It depends on what type of check, what bank it's on, if it's on a bank that is out of state and....
how your bank handles things.
When I am conserned about a check, I ask my bank how long it will take for me to be able to "use the funds".

It should show in your 'account balance' section by end of day or the following day but won't be in your 'available balance' section until 3-5working days usually.
Check with your bank if you're unsure.
