I mean seriously there could have been documents that could have been destroyed therefore we can't fully understand the situation due to the lack of evidence. Also the fact that the bible might not have all of the evidence to support itself therefore the evidence is not sufficent. Last, but not least doesn't it make you mad that when people are told that God is great they never question them? I mean if God loves you so much all he wants your opinion therefore sitting behind the desires of a teacher who says that it is bad to be different is merely producing a sin and wasting your time.


Just think about reality. Yes there could have been a God but just think about a different pathway to lead you to a different conclusion. There is nothing wrong with being different. It is withing the teachings of Christ that created democracy the value of the individual therefore state what you think without fear.

I don't know ONE single Christian that thinks they know everything about God. On the contrary most everyone that is Christians that I know fully admit that there is a lot we don't know or understand and can't. That's why it's called faith. It's fine if you don't agree with it or believe it, but it's not fair to generalize and say that ALL Christians think they know everything. That's not at all true.

Plus, everyone is a sinner, Christians know that we're sinners and most that I know have no problem admitting to their sins. And DON'T look for excuses for them.

The Lord has created us to be individuals with different attributes and Gifts! the Bible talks specifically about there being different parts of the Body of Christ, the church, having different gifts and duties in the Body! He also has given us a set of rules and instructions to live by. If there were no such rules, then anybody could do anything they wanted to and no one could do anything about it. would`nt that be cool, say for instance, you`re driving down the street and pull up to a stop and someone walks up and shoots you and takes your car, or someone robs you and takes everything you have, or someone rapes your 5 year old sister, and all these people walk away in broad daylight with out any possibility of getting in any kind of trouble because there are no laws or rules against anything? how cool would that be! HUH?
The Lord has legitimate purposes for ALL his rules regarding our lives and we should appreciate the fact that he has given them to us instead of complaining because we feel like we can`t do this or that! you can be different and individual without disobeying God`s instructions! Just realize that they`re there for your own good!
And I would never claim to understand an all powerful, all knowing ever present creator of everything who holds the universe in the palm of his hand, but still knew you before you were ever conceived in your mothers body!
On the other hand, speaking of the same God, how could anyone ever argue that someone like that is GREAT! It goes without saying!

we definitely don`t have all the information about Christ! The Bible says that if everything about Christ were written it would fill up the whole world with the books it would take to record it!

Christians do think they know everything.

I recently became and atheist and it shocks me at the arrogance of so many Christians, who are so sure they know why I became and atheist.

Then when I try to explain to them why, they only begin to attempt to show me why they are right about the way I feel, and not me.

They say that it was for a bad experience, or that I lost my way, and the worst that Jesus still loves me.

Never bothering to the fact that my deconversion was based on the bible and all the terrible things it contains. I just couldn't believe in a god who commanded so much violence and rape as being good.

Why cant these people ever accept that people leave their religion because the religion is wrong.

The bible is the written Word of God. It was given by divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The Word is how we learn about God and grow close to Him. He reveals Himself through His word...and other sources (whatsoever He chooses).
God is not interested in our opinion. Our views are corrupt and imperfect. He wants us to know the truth so we can be free from the bondage of corruption. Satan is a liar and the father of all lies...he also has greatly influenced the world and all within it. Our mind is renewed as we learn the truth about who God is and who we are in Him.
We are all unique. There has never been, nor will there ever be, another like you. You are a divine origional...not a cheap copy. When He created you, He broke the mold. You are special in the eyes of God and He wants you to know the truth.
As for speaking without fear, Life and death are in the power of the tongue. This means that you should be careful of what comes out of your mouth. It will affect your life and the lives of others. Your words are more powerful than you know, and once something is said, it is almost impossible to take it back again.

It doesn't make me mad just sad. Some stuff in the Bible isn't meant to be taken literaley, it's a history of people. I believe that there is A Christ/Spirit/Soul within each of Us. We are to live as he did, as He set an example. He wasn't terribley judgemental of differences but accepting of them. God, Goddess, Universal Spirit created Jesus as human--he wasn't perfect. He struggeled, questioned, cried, got pissed and very hurt. All healthy human qualities. We, are made in God/Spirit/Jesus image. We, are EQUAL to Him---with the same power. Most folks just dont realize this---it's a journey. Here's a thought.. Who created God/Universal Spirit?? I have always questioned and I think it is normal and healthy to explore.

Christians are the "Hyprocrites" that Jesus himself warned others against. Not once in the new testement, does Jesus say, "form a religion, follow the book to get to heaven, go to church or die" . I do not believe most of what was written, cause easily it could have been written by mankind. I think Jesus was real, and he was a highly evolved aware spirit. And that He himself would HATE how religion has formed into judgement groups of Hyprocrites. There is no such thing as Hell. Nor heaven. There is a spirit world. and we arrive and return there. But the only judgement there is , is that which we judge ourselves. In fact Jesus Himself went against the religion of THOSE days ! He quoted the bible and said "it has been said, an eye for an eye and a toooth for a tooth, but i say to you, love your enemy" He knows to NOT follow blindness, but to question everything and to know that the truth only lays within Love.

You could have the best teacher in religion to teach you the Bible but if you don't have FAITH in what you are reading You will never know the TRUTH.
