I actually feel better after filling them out. In the past 4 years, I've had 2 intensive police and federal background checks that I passed.

I am thankfull that they didn't have computers when I was younger. Most records were destroyed after so many years because of paper storage problems!

Not really, you would be suprised what you see on them. Most departments dont care about most the things you did, they just want to see if you honest. It is expected that every applicant will have tried drugs at least once or stole something. Its only when you dont write it down and they find out, that you become a bad person.
