I believe in God, I don't have absolute evidence for his existence but I believe with reason, but if I had to decide which deity was the most plausible I would chose the one revealed in the New Testament. So would you say I am? Agnostic, deistic, or Christian? I don't know if there is a God, I think there is, and if I had to chose one I'd say the Christian one. So what am I? Aside from weird, unipolar, factious and adorable.
I'd say I am like at the med-school stages of Christianity. I'm not certified yet, I'm still kinda in school, I could still become a drop out, but I'm on the way.

"you don't have to believe in the first 12 chapters of Genesis (Adam & Eve, Noah's ark, etc.) so don't let that ruin your faith."
If I read a history book and then someone said, "Oh, ignore the first 12 chapters, but the rest is totally great" I would raise an eyebrow at them for sure.

the term doesn't really matter. God doesn't expect religion from you; He expects relationship. you say you believe there is a God. there truly is. keep searching for Him, and when you do with all your heart, you will know. it just takes faith! Go for it! you're in my prayers.
note: everything written in the Bible is true.

if you believe in god, then you can't be agnostic, regardless of the reason why you believe. As for christianity, you either believe in it, or you don't; it sounds like you do.
You said you believe, but you later said that you don't know if there is a god. So, which is it?! You either believe or you don't. If you don't feel you can choose either, then you're agnostic. It's really not that hard to figure out. Either way, it's your decision. Asking us which one you should be defeats the purpose.

Just read the bible, attend mass, and you'll be Christian in no time. Trust me when you start to study it, you will believe. BTW you don't have to believe in the first 12 chapters of Genesis (Adam & Eve, Noah's ark, etc.) so don't let that ruin your faith.

My advise is to study the Bible seriously. It couldn't hurt anything.
I am a Christian primarily because if there is a Hell then I don't want to go there. And if there is a Heaven, then I definitely want to go there. There is really no downside to being a Christian.
By following the teachings of Jesus, my life has been altogether very very good.

You believe in God. Do you believe in prayer? If you do, ask God to reveal Himself to you in a way that you will recognize. Keep searching and having faith. He will reveal Himself to and when He does, you will know. He will reward those who diligently seek Him. Good luck and God bless on your journey of faith.

there won't be a organic or consumer-friendly progression. Theoretically, toddlers are born atheists. they do no longer understand or understand the belief of a god, subsequently they technically do no longer have faith in a god. yet then their intelligence heightens, and their mom and dad and/or friends could or won't introduce them to the existence of religion. in the event that they do take that direction, they could or won't be skeptical, such as you. in the event that they do no longer, then they make their very own possibilities in accordance with what they be taught around them. My tale went that as quickly as i grew to become right into a sprint youngster, Jesus Christ scared me and that i did no longer like him. i presumed he grew to become into evil. And he terrified me. i grew to become into afraid he grew to become into going to kill me or my mom and dad or some thing. you already know, only make my existence extraordinarily depressing for some reason, by using fact I did see those different people who suffered and puzzled why Jesus Christ might try this to them. Then I grew up, and in seventh grade found out greater approximately religions. My social study instructor taught us that agnosticism is the place you particularly do only no longer care (customarily experience) and atheism is the place you do no longer have faith in a god. i grew to become into aghast that some human beings could no longer have faith in God, yet I reported i grew to become into agnostic by using fact i individually did no longer care. My Protestant pal found out i grew to become into agnostic and tried to transform me. In her efforts, I did study approximately even if if or no longer it made experience. And no longer something extra up. all of it sounded illogical to me. As a follower of technological information, I slowly diminished from believing in God. the appropriate bounce grew to become into confusing, by using fact I felt undesirable for letting circulate of God. yet then i found out, "hey, if i do no longer think in him besides, what's he going to do? no longer exist? Ooh, frightening." See, all of us's tale is diverse. Yours seems incredibly common, i assume.
