depends on my mood. there are some pretty kick butt cakes out there as well as pies. I love peanut butter meltaway cake. Love to eat cake and drink milk. And hell, who doesn't like birthday cake! Oh yeah and ice cream cake. Then there is strawberry rhubarb pie ......mmmmmmmmm, and peanut butter pie, and blueberry and coconut cream and donuts and cookies and ice cream and chocolate and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! GOTTA GO! I GOT THE MUNCHIES!

Cake, because unlike pie, cake has endless design and flavor possiblities. There are only so many things you can do to a pie before you have to call it a cake.

I'm am going to vote for pie. I love sweet desserts, so I am a huge fan of both. However, I think that you have more opportunity for variety with pie. I'm not sure how many different cakes there are out there, but there are only so many different ways to come up with different flavors. You can put almost anything into a pie crust.

It's a toss up between german chocolate cake with coconut-pecan frosting and pecan pie.
If they were both sitting on a table in front of me and I had to choose one, I'd distract everyone and take a piece of each.
Of course then there's the warm apple pie with a scoop of good vanilla ice cream...or the cold pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
I guess it's time to pull the fire alarm so that I can eat all 4!!!!

I like pie because it gives me mouthwatering. Homemade apples pies are the best and it good with vanilla ice cream. Cake is somewhat dry,unless it has lots of whipping or moist fillings in layers. I usually like three layer chocolate cake with cheese cheese frosting. It tingles my tongues and twisted my sweet tooth. It is your choice.

pie... the inside isn't as crumbly and isn't as dry in you mouth when you chew it. pie is gr8!!!! esp sweet potato
