The main label should be attached to your luggage handle on the outside. But, just a thought...for my last trip I went online with the airline I booked with to print up a paper/document for my luggage (with the same luggage label information). The airline suggested to print one up to place inside your luggage in case the outside handle broke off for any reason or the luggage was lost. That way, they can still track your luggage and will know it belongs to you when they open it.

I always put my home address and phone number. Inside my luggage, I tape the same information, and if I have a location where I´m going, I´ll usually put that, too. (also, a cell phone number is a good idea, especially if you´re not staying in one place very long).

On the main tag, I put my usual info, including email addy, and stuck it face down in the card holder thing. Inside of the suitcase, I keep a copy of my general iternary, including the name and phone number of the place that I'll be staying at. That way,if something happens to the nametag on the outside of my case, there's still a chance that my suitcase will be returned to me.
