My acne has always been only on my forehead. It's been pretty bad. I started using Proactiv about 2 weeks ago and now I have little tiny zits all over my forehead instead of big ones but that makes me think that it's working because it has to get rid of the bacteria before it clears up, right? I've never had acne anywhere else but I have blackheads on my nose and it doesn't get rid of those. Also, I have some bumps on the side of my cheek but they aren't red or anything, just bumps. I thought it would take care of that too. Oh, I don't know. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've used Proactive before and it doesn't work I had a years supply and after 4 months it still wasn't working and i actually think it made my skin worse all those comercials and ads you see are fake Proactive dosen't work stop using it go to a dermotologist or your regular doctor to find a product that is right for your skin.

if proactive is causing you all of these problems, I would suggest you stop using the product and get your money back. It seems to me, based on what you described, that your skin is having a reaction to the product.

I had acne really bad a few years ago. My doctor put me on Retin-ae (sp?) and it works wonders. It is a cream that you apply a light coating on the face and it dries the acne/pimples up and keeps the area resolved of acne. When I got it, it cost in the ballpark of $80, which it would probably be cheaper if you have insurance.

My personal preference though is to not buy something that is advertised on television or endorsed by a celebrity... on tv. Ive had too many bad experiences with it in the past.

best advice.... stop using the product.

Well, I bought Proactiv hoping it would work on me but, it hasn't. I have already gone to the dermatologist but, they always give me the same thing and it never works.
I recommend going to a spa. They have facial treatments that help clear up acne. I'm going to try it, you should too.

I had a very bad reaction to Proactiv. It would start to burn me and I'd cry.

I never recommend Proactiv to anyone.

Don't test things on your skin. The fact is the most important thing specially the skin. See a Dermatologist, they can give you exactly what you need.

give it like two or three more weeks (seems to take about a month for me to see results) and if it still doesn't work then try something else...and use that money back guarantee.
