I have shoulder length hair and i was wondering what i should do with it for the dance? Thanks!

Well, you could do curls, because it's not obvious, a little unexpected, but the hat would probably give serious hat hair, so you'd have to it practically glued to your head all night...which may not be fun..
I think because the outfit has that kinda cigar-smokin' gangster lady feel to it, that maybe you should go for something a little hard-edged. So, straightened or blow-dried, but framing the face, not behind your ears...

Down. Doesn't matter if it's straightened or not, keep it feminine by wearing it down. The nice thing about hats is that they mean you don't have to do much to your hair.
