Disease is from sin. Jesus came to heal our diseases.

I do not think that using your brain makes you a cold hearted person. I am not really sure...but I do know that disease is not from God. I think that pain is inevitable in this life and also beneficial to preserve our bodies and our minds. Pain warns us that something is wrong. In our bodies and even in our spirit. If we are experiencing intense inner pain....finding God is the only lasting relief...People have tried all kinds of "fixes" from alcohol and drugs to becoming workaholics. They all fail in the end. I think that pain is a necessary evil to bring man closer to God. Though it was not intended to be that way in the beginning.

I don't think you're cruel but I disagree with you.

Disease became a part of life ever since Adam and Eve chose to disobey God out of their own free will.
