Thank you for the prayer request...
I am so glad that you are looking to God for your answers and for direction.
Here is my prayer for you:
Dear Father in Heaven,
We just lift up George to You. You know his needs and desires. I just thank You for this situation that it has caused him to call upon You with greater depth and rely upon You with more sincerity.
Father, only You know the job that You want Him to have. I pray and ask that You make it clear to Him where You want Him. Help Him to call upon You and seek Your face, to get to know You as His child and You as His Father...God I thank you that Your grace is sufficient, that You are our provider and that we can rely upon You always.
Lord, we just confess as sin each and everytime we have relied upon our own understanding and depended on men and man's ways instead of Your leading and Your ways.
Please forgive us and help us to lean not on our own understanding but in all our ways--acknowledge You, Lord, so that You shall direct our paths.
I thank you that Your grace is sufficient, that your goodness is with out bounds and that George is given the patience, stedfastness and strength to rely upon You always.
God, we ask that every spirit of discouragement be banished and that he is surrounded by Your love and encouragement and that he have the Holy Spirit as his Comforter.
Lord, help him to be all that You want him to be for Your kingdom alone.
In Jesus name.
Amen.

I would be honored to pray for you. sometimes we don't get the answers we are wishing for, but when one door closes another one opens. Some time the second door is the better one. We need to have trust that the Lord will do what is best for us, If you are meant to go into the ministry than the Lord will open that door for you. It is Gods will that will be done. I will be praying that the Lord will open the right door for for you. Then you will prosper. Have faith . Prayers are so powerful So please be patient and the Lord will answer. God Bless.

I will be praying for you!! The Lord has a calling on your life and until you go in that direction you will not find peace!! I do not know how old you are and am not telling you to be disrespectful of your parents, but if the Lord is calling you into ministry you can't let anyone stand in your way!! I pray that the peace of God which passeth all understanding will be yours!! God bless you abundantly!!

I have just prayed for you. We do not always get what we pray for. Jesus rarely prayed for himself, but for others. Search your heart as to what you are seeking and the reasons and motives for which you are seeking it. If you are sincere in your quest for a ministry you will meet a considerable resistance to it. Remember the words of the apostle Paul run a good race. It is not important that we win the race, but only that we finish the race.
May God bless you and may you prosper to the glory of God

Hi George,
I will pray for you to have open doors for where God wants you to go. He has promised to direct your path when you acknowledge Him in all your ways. (Proverbs 3:6) God never lies. (Titus 1:2) so....trust Him and wait patiently.....which is not easy. There are many ways that doors can be open....some that we don't think of. Wherever God leads you is where He can use you....even if you do not think it is a ministry. God bless you...I would love to hear what happens if you want to email me.

Thank you Lord for opening doors that no man can shut. Thank you that you give wisdom and show us the way we are to go through your Holy Spirit. Your Word is a light unto our path.
Thank you that we can come boldly before the Throne of Grace in hour of need, because we are your children.
Thank you for clear direction & how to be at the right place at the right time regarding this future job.

George, I just answered an earlier question of yours, and found you had another one, this time, out of frustration, you are asking for our prayers.
Dear Father God,
Please guide George down the road that You have set forth for him. Close all of the wrong doors, and open up a window for him to walk thru and get the good fit of a job. Give George the patience and strength to continue toward this job that You have designed for him. Make the interview come at a perfect time for George. Have it so that his coworkers are Christian and open to accepting George as a person as well as his skills fit the job. Lord, we know You work things large and small; all is of importance to You because You love us and want us to draw close to You and do Your work in our daily lives. Help George to have what needs supplied to him while he waits for You to present him with that key interview. We ask these things thru Thy Son Jesus Christ, Amen.
George,
When the Lord gave me my job here, I was limited as to what days and times I could interview because I also carried a part time job. I asked that the "right" job be of an interview that would accept my limitations of appropriate times to interview. Well, two interviews were set up, and the second lady I was to talk to insisted I see her when I was working at my other job. This gave me the opportunity to see God at work in my life. I turned her down. She seemed miffed with me and said that if anything came up, she'd call me back. She never did. My family was furious with me and did not understand that I had left it in God's hands, and I asked God to make the 'right' job be happy to work with me for any interviews. The it happened - a year almost to the day that I began to apply at this company (a college). And my now boss said OK to the time and days I mentioned. The interview went very well and she hired me. I am not only among Christian women, but BOTH employers worked with me so that I work one job in the mornings, and the primary full time job in the afternoon & evenings. I didn't want to leave my part time job, as my boss there was Christian also. So, God blessed me by showing me very clearly where He wanted me to be.
It can be that way for you, too.
Be patient. God is very active in our lives and wants you do be the best you can be; do the best you can do! Rely fully on Him and you'll do much better than you ever thought!
God Bless you & Merry Christmas!

I will say a prayer for you. I would suggest trying a novena to St. Jude, the saint of hopeless causes. I prayed one for my father and he got an interview on the first day and was hired on the fourth (it is a nine day prayer). I usually don't write anything about the power of prayer or seeing God fulfill our wishes cause it sounds so contrived, but you sound like you are in the same boat that my dad was in and it worked for him. I really hope it works for you.
I started a novena to St. Jude for you tonight.

if you feel like God is calling you to the ministry then by all means...GO i am sorry your parents are in disagreement with it but it is your life and if God wants you... you better answer His call,it will be for your benefit as well as others you may be able to help one day..staying at home is not helping you at this point and i have found that in helping others you are truly helping yourself..i have prayed that God will intervene in your situation and He will just keep the faith....Merry Christmas and God Bless
