Cholesterol 250 mg/dL is really high and at young age of 32 you already got high blood pressure.Well, that sounds not so well but there are many things you can do to help yourself.

You should start to make changes in your lifestyle.Losing weight (if you got more) through dietary changes and daily exercise is the best place to start.

Eating healthy and limiting saturated fats and foods high in cholesterol lower risk factors associated with heart disease, more especially in your case that you already got high blood pressure.

You may start on the so called "Mediterranean-style diet", which cuts down on SATURATED and TRANS FATS, while boosting intake of healthy UNSATURATED fats from fish and nuts.

What do you need to modify in your diet?
>>FATS:
A.Cut down on saturated fats found in fatty meats and whole milk dairy products which include cheese, ice cream, and butter.
B. Reduce consumption of trans fats (or the man-made fat) found in processed foods margarine.
C.Eat in moderation "healthy unsaturated fats", they will actually improve your cholesterol. That include fatty fish like tuna and salmon, walnuts, and almonds.

>>CALORIES:
Whatever are contained in your diet, even containing low cholesterol and fats, they still have calories that can add up if you eat too much which can lead to WEIGHT GAIN,which could also increase your risk of having high cholesterol.

>>CHOLESTEROL:
High cholesterol foods include shrimp and internal organ meats such as liver, kidney, etc. It has recently found out that eggyolks are not bad but take it with moderation.

If your having high cholesterol level is genetically-related,diet modification may be of little help on lowering cholesterol but it still has much benefits. You see, if you are overweight it will increase the odds of getting high bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglyceride levels and low good cholesterol (HDL) levels. As you know, high bad cholesterol can also lead to other serious risks like high blood pressure (which you already have), diabetes, and many heart problems.

As keeping a healthy weight is a very important part of a high cholesterol treatment, regular EXERCISE can be of great help as it can LOWER the triglyceridestriglycerides and bad cholesterol while it can BOOST the good cholesterol. Brisk walking for at least 30-60 minutes daily is good enough.Exercise may be not be so good in lowering the cholesterol level down but it can keep your weight down and reduce other risks of complications.

In addition, if you are a smoker and a drinker, quiting the use of tobacco and decreasing the intake of alcohol will help in lowering blood lipids.

Cholesterol lowering medicines may be helpful if the above mentioned interventions offer less help. Expect that you may be prescribed with STATIN (like Crestor, Lescol, Lipitor, Mevacor, Pravachol, and Zocor) which work by blocking the effects of an enzyme that helps make cholesterol, can lower bad cholesterol and can boost good cholesterol.

Anyway, if you just had made lifestyle modifications, do not expect immediate results. Give the modified lifestyle treatments time to work. More importantly, DO NOT assume that a food labeled "CHOLESTEROL-FREE" is necessarily good. You may not have any ability to change the UNHEALTHY GENES from your DNA but there are many things you can do to change your CHOLESTEROL FLYING NUMBERS.

Remember to keep a regular check of your cholesterol levels. Normal range of cholesterol level is 200 mg/dL or lower for a total count. Checking HDL, LDL and triglyceride level is also a good idea. Normal triglyceride level is 150 mg/dL; HDL at 40mg/dL; and LDL cholesterol should be less than 100 mg/dL as the desirable range.

Your cholesterol is attaching itself to a fungi infection in the artery. The bigger, badder the fungi infection is the more your cholesterol will build in. This can be easily cured if you just kill the fungi under its own umbrella. If there no more fungi then your cholesterol will disbursts and your blood pressure will be normalizes. This easiest way to do this to purchase a zapper and place at the spot. Within several minutes your blood will be cleaner and it kill that fungi in your artery or vein. get the mini zapper its just as good

High cholesterol can only be detected through a blood test. But a high blood pressure usually means you have high cholesterol levels. Symptoms for high blood pressure like back of neck pains, dizziness and even chest pains may be indicators of high blood pressure and so may mean high cholesterol levels.
