Okay so i just recently started working and so far okay i guess after a month that i started working they hired some lady after me and up until this point we are both part time the only diffrence is that this lady is like 20 year older than me and of course she has more experice in the field that we are in but the dealis that she is working 10 hrs more than me.My manger loves her. They talk all the the time after work and i can honestly see her getting promoted before me for he fact that the manger likes her. The less time that that the manger stays on the computer the more possibility i'd be full time and honestly i think ive been doing good and now she wants to put me in the other ladies station and switch her to mine. And give her all th hrs i shoulf be working. If something likethat happens I think i should put in a 2 w notice???? Any Advice

do not rush to put in the two weeks notice, but do have a talk with your boss and let her know how u feel, and also let her know, subtlely that u were here before the older woman, and let her know that u feel u should not be switched. Maybe the manager feels that the older woman is better qualitifed, and in that case, if she says so, then I would put in a two-weeks notice. I think that age is not a factor in a promotion, and if u are better qualified, then u should be full-time. maybe the manager can better relate to the older woman because she is older. I know I have a difficult time relating to young ppl. Why?? I am better with ppl my age, ( the big 4-0) than teens, and elderly ppl, or even little kids. Talk to your boss and let her know U are unhappy. If she tries to say u are over-reacting,tell her, u are not. She may not see anything is wrong till u tell her.

How about talking with your husband about how you feel about working? You just don't want to work. Or figure out since you have to work, what kind of job would you like the most to do? Then work toward that or make a change sooner if possible. No matter where you work you will have different personalities to deal with.

Remember other people are never the problem. They are just doing stuff that pushes our buttons. We have to figure out what we're supposed to learn from the experience, so it can be over. Ask the question what am I supposed to learn from this? Do it and see what happens. Life may get a bit easier. Best of luck to you.

Well, if your job involves any kind of typing of grammar then you may want to dust of the resume...I would keep the older woman. Way too many typos sweetheart!

ask yourself two questions...how badly do you need the money...and does it really matter as long as you HAVE a job? if you can live with the hrs that you are working and you like the job, i would keep it. at least til you find another one.
