im sure answers vary...i would not be comfortable with casual sex...i dont like to mess around with people i dont know or feel i can trust...i havent had sex ever...and im probably older than most who have already...but unless i find someone that i am comfortable enough with to be with i prefer to stay that way. Even if i end up with no action for another decade or 2...id probably remain in the same position...however once i hit 50...all bets are off

Ehh. I've been single for awhile and I've NEVER had a one night stand....but I did have casual sex and it happened to be the most AMAAAZING sex I've ever had, no joke.
The only thing is, I've realized why i DONT have casual sex. I get attached. Even though I expected nothing and didnt want a relationship from it-- I kind of ended up crushing on the guy....and ultimately being disappointed. But anyway...I know it's much more acceptable for guys than is women these days. With guys, you'll get a high five "way to go, man"..with girls, you get called a slut or "easy"...so you'd have less backlash, that's for sure.
I'm not saying casual sex is the thing to do, and it's definitely not something to make a habit of....but sometimes meaningless sex is a nice release. Because trust me, girls get those urges too. Doesn't make me feel proud of myself though....but it was enjoyable at the time.

Do girls feel that much frustration - Oh God yes! Do we run out and relieve it with a random guy? Sometimes, it all depends on the girl and whether or not she can see sex as casual recreation or a tension release.
No matter how equal society becomes, it's still more acceptable for a guy to run out and relieve his frustration with a one night stand. However, more and more guys are starting to come to see sex as a close intimate thing to be shared with someone you have feelings for. Whereas more and more girls are treating sex like men do - a bit of fun.
These kind of stereotypes that label acceptable sexual behaviour for men and women are fast becoming outdated. Nowadays it all comes down to you and what you feel sex is.

Nah. I had sex quickly with a guy I was friends with for a long time (complicated situation), since I hadn't had any action for over a year, but I still feel dirty now months later (it didn't work out at all). Men seem more programmed for these more casual encounters but I am not a big fan. I got used to not having action. Sounds sad but I did lol. Hope I am not in that position again, though.. *fingers crossed*

Depends how long. I'm 20 so I'm not even worried about something like that. I've never been single for so long that I just crave sex... I guess if it'd been THAT long then I could do casual... But otherwise, I'd rather just wait.

Hey. Well, since I'm still young, it's not that big of a deal for me. But I still think it's kinda low. A lot of girls are sensitive about getting intimate, and don't like to have sex just for the hell of it. So, yea. I hope I answered your question.

No because i wont have sex until im married (im 18 btw) and if i ever do divorce my husband i still wouldnt have casual sex. i think sex should only be with someone you love.
