Sure will. It's their right to say "Happy Holidays" just as it's my right to say "Merry Christmas" or whatever else I choose to say.

I don't much care about being wished Merry Christmas by a sales person in a store. Commercial activity has little to do with the meaning of Christmas, or at least it should.

No, I love to shop Gap, Old Navy, & American Eagle for my grown children and grandbabies, but when I went Christmas shopping and saw the absence of mentioning or using the word "Christmas" throughout their stores and then asked one of their employees about it, they each told me,
"We are not allowed to say Merry Christmas to our customers nor do any of our stores have a mention of Christmas or Christmas music because it might offend non-believers."
I returned all the items I was going to purchase and told them when the cashier asked me why I was not going to purchase them, I politely told each of them in turn, "Well Jesus Christ IS the reason for this season and Christmas is retailers best season of the year. But as a Christian, I am offended that you refuse to acknowledge Jesus Christ, so I will spend my money where they DO appreciate the REAL reason for the season."

Being an atheist, no, I much prefer that they either say Xmas or have a great day.
I always take the time to explain that as the one of the 37% of all Australian that do not follow the christian doctrine, I am ever so slightly offended that you would wish it upon me, even if it was not your intention. Afterall, ignorance is not an excuse!

Not being a Christian, I really don't care. Actually, if I bothered to think about it, I suppose I'd prefer "Happy Holidays".
