Share one or two things that you read here that truly stayed with you. That touched and made a change in your christian life. If it is at all possible, can you give a quick capsule of what remained in your heart from R&S.

Ty for taking the time to share with all of us.

Brother Bobby Bonsai.. You are one of the very first I added to my contact list. I saw you sharing on the part of man as being body soul and spirit and that our soul was made up of the mind will and emotions. This revelation was such a crucial one to me as a christian. It had a way to truly show me how the Lord made us and what was His purpose on creating man the way that HE did.
I love your humor and the way you cherish all the brothers and sisters. I love you brother.

Very heart felt Sister Dawn.. Ty for sharing. All that you say weighs with such truth. May we all examine ourselves as members of Christ. If the Lord has to make any kind of impact on the world then He has to make an impact on us first. I share your burden also about knowing the truth. I too have witnessed the short among so many of us. HOpefully this kind of exposure will drive us to the Word to seek the truth out before the Lord. I thank you for your honest answer tonight.. May we all read and be before the Lord for one another and for His Testimony here on R&S among us as believers.

Ur sis

I received a great treasure on here from a brother once. I once asked about Peter's scripture where he said, "He who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin." That scripture always baffled me because it seemed to be saying that all those who were tortured for their faith didn't sin anymore. I knew that couldn't be true so I couldn't figure it out until one very spirit filled Christian explained his view. Instantly, it was like a spark and my eyes were opened! He said when you are denying your flesh and not giving into the sin it wants to do you are ceasing from sinning at that moment and you do suffer in some way when you deny giving into your flesh. After that, the scripture made perfect sense to me. That's the only one I can think of at the moment.

Luv you sister! (((((Sandy)))))

Hi Sandy,
I think the thing that sticks with me the most is the lack of reverence some people on here give to God. It truly givs me the sense that the end is truly getting more near every day. I love the questions that make me think, so that I have to go searching the word for the answer. I am heartbroken about the questions that get deleted. Especially the ones that speak of Gods grace. I had one that was a question the from the first sentence to the last. It truly saddens me to know that so many hate the things of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. They hate us to because we love him, but he said that would happen didn't he. As long as we keep asking good grounded questions and giving good grounded answers with their foundation sunk deeply in the true word of God they will either have to believe or stop looking. Keep asking your great questions Sister, you have received some really great answers, thing is they can't do anything about it. The truth is getting in each time they read them, whether they know it or not. One day they will have to stand and give an account of what they have done with the word of God, the only truth.

I'm only on answers just a short time. But R&S touches me because, no matter how the tone of sharing is this is a great venue to be the love that Jesus teaches me to be, and I do this in my exchanges to the best of my ability by loving and holding all in prayer here.

I have been touched by the sincerity and willingness to share of the R&S folk.

There is alot of caring and love in the sharings.

I've made some interesting 'contacts'. Some are believers and some are not. I have a greater understanding of non-believers. I don't get a chance to talk to as varied a group of people at one time as I do here. I'm really busy with church,
so this gives me a chance to get broad based viewpoints I might not otherwise come across.
Thx for an interesting Q

I have been here for about 6 months. When I first started visiting one thing I noticed right away was the Spiritual warfare that this section stirs up. It's sad but true that as much as Christians prayers effect the spiritual realm the effect of non believers curses have a similar effect. The mind is the battleground and boy does the enemy attack minds here. I take everything I do and say very seriously as I know that words spoken or written have an eternal effect yet I also am free in the love of Christ to know that I might say the wrong thing. That is the beauty of forgiveness. I love the perfect peace that God gives us as our minds are stayed on him and I am thankful for the R&S section as it is a tool that helps me do just that. I do enjoy your questions Sandy and others who dig deep. Yet again another day the Lord has given us to be filled up and overflowing!! Keep pouring out sis!!

I have been on Yahoo Answers for 3 months, mostly on R&S.
I have been a Christian for 37 years.

Two things have struck a chord within me. One is good, the other bad.
Bad first: I am truly amazed at the number of people referring to themselves as atheists while having an extensive knowledge of the Bible and how Christianity works.
I ask myself every time I see one 'How can they know this and not believe?' I am saddened by it.

Good: The questions on here from true Christians are sometimes very deep. This causes me to search the Word looking for the answer. I have learned a great deal more about the Word because of this and I am greatful for it.

I only hope my answers and questions help someone else sometimes.
Thank you.

I think one of the most profound things that I carry with me hasn't even come from R&S but from one of the first questions I ever answered which made me look deep within myself and decide what I thought forgiveness truly is.

It has impacted my spiritual life in a way that I did not think it would.

If I have to say something that has come from R&S it would be that asking Christians where God came from is as silly as asking a blade of grass where the earth came from. The opposite is also true.

I haven't been on R&S for very long; I think I joined in late September. What has stayed the most with me is the feeling of love and concern God gives me for those who are seeking and asking questions from a real desire to know truth or from a hunger to know God or from a realization of painful need in their lives.

I've been so drawn to R & S because it has given me an avenue for my faith. I love so much to share about Jesus because He truly saved my life, not just spiritually, but literally. I know many people get down and are tempted to end their lives; I just want to share with them that they don't have to give up and give in to despair. Jesus is present and He cares.

My biggest frustration and heartache is for those who are belligerent and aggressively opposed to God and to Christianity. It feels like watching a slow-motion train wreck. I see people in spiritual danger and who feel offended with me for thinking they might be in danger. "for the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving...". I know all I can do is offer water, I can't force someone to drink. I guess I should be more worried for those who are indifferent to this whole topic; the opposite of love is not hate, its indifference!

I do get a sense of joy when I have a connection with someone on line. Its wonderful to know I have spiritual "brothers & sisters" on this site. Even though we may never meet here, eventually we will meet! I appreciate the dynamics of contact and connection, it blesses me!

Great question, Sandy!!!

I have been here a little over a year.
Very shortly after I started a troll was asking a really good question. I think they meant to be silly but it was really good. (I cant remember exactly what it was) I answered with a simple spiritual point and they posted in their additional details that they had no clue what I was talking about. That opened my eyes to the fact that there are people who are not able to see even the most simple spiritual truth's. I know there are many people who reject Christ and that's their rite but I never knew there were others who were actually spiritually blind.

i've got continuously been taught that this could properly be a connection with the Holy Spirit. the define rings authentic for the Holy Spirit, even though it continuously looked unusual to me for JC to assert that the HS could not come whilst JC became nevertheless here. The attributes of the counselor might argue against Joseph Smith, considering he did not fairly do very lots till now he have been given killed. however the asserting is obscure sufficient that some will factor to Joseph. I even have had an imam attempt to tell me that it refers explicitly to Mohammad. Bahais sees the Bab and Baha'ullah interior an identical words. My very own suspicion is that in case you had lived interior the cases whilst that gospel became written, and were an ingredient of its community (for whom it became written, of direction) you will have often happening precisely to what those words refer. yet, as is the case in maximum of cases, we in simple terms don't be attentive to. it fairly is a secret.

I have been on YA for about 4 months and I have learned a lot about what other people believe. I have a handful of favorite regulars and I always look forward to reading their answers and their questions. But what I like best about R&S is that it makes me have to study and search my Bible. and I have found that I know scripture better than I thought I did, which has been a blessing.
