Greatest Man in History
The Greatest Man in History Jesus had no servants, yet
they called Him Master. Had no degree, yet they called
Him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called Him
Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won
no military battles, yet He conquered the world.
He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was
buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. I feel honored
to serve such a Leader who loves us! If you believe in
God and in Jesus Christ His Son . . If
you ignore it, just remember that Jesus said ... "If
you deny me before man, I will deny you before my
Father in Heaven."

Well said my friend ....Just look at peoples reaction , to those of us devoted thier is 'joy' & 'praise' in thier statements..
But to those who are lost , mockery & pain....
Such a vast difference....in our hearts and thiers......
And it is heart wrenching....
If they only cared like we did...indeed...
And they unawares are missing so much and don't even know it....
God calls it 'hard hearts' & I call it 'pride'...and we all know what pride goeth before......
Great comment..I enjoyed ! Thank you !
Now let's finish the race..........

A folk tale culture hero, Jesus had many grandiose titles, and the stories feature admirable and insightful remedies to social dilemmas. The extraordinary powers and phenomena attendant to his character are reflections of magicians of the place and time from which his stories emerged, as well as from competing cults, gods and heros of times past. Today's religion which glorifies him and makes him into a historical figure largely ignores the dearth of support from contemporaneous sources as to any specific person's travail, and turns a blind eye to the obvious forms from which his tales were cut in order to brag, boast, and bellow about the superiority of the cult featuring their cosmic saviour. Far more in keeping with the virtue of the character in the tales, however, are the faithful who humbly make peace with their neighbors, offer love and helpfulness to all who come before them, and keep kindness and charity running through all that they say and do.

Great post except for the part that makes this sound like a chain letter. Anyway, I call Jesus my Saviour!

I think Jesus was a pretty cool cat, from what I read about him. I'm not so sure about that whole "Son of God" thing, but he said some pretty awesome things about living your life and being a good person in the world.
I mean, the dude wore his hair long, grew out his beard, traipsed around in sandals... Gotta love hippies like that, man. I'm a big fan of wise hippies like Jesus. Rock on, man.
But really, I rank him up there with Buddha and Gandhi and MLK Jr., and all those other peeps with good suggestions and philosophies. I'm definitely a fan of Jesus, but also of most people who talk about leading good, moral lives.
