My 3yr old loves to cook and I am looking for some nice quality utensils that are kid-friendly. I've improvised a lot already, For example we use the egg slicer for fruit, mushrooms, cheese, etc. She knows how to prep asparagus and loves to wisk, but I am trying to come up with more ways for her to help with cooking/baking.

That's great that your daughter loves to help you cook. My best childhood memories are of helping my grandmother in the kitchen. Here's some ideas.

Kids love to use cookie cutters. The baking aisle is full of fun sprinkles and icings that are easy for kids to use.

Buy some fresh peas and teach her to shell them. Her hands are probably the perfect size.

Buy prepared dough and let her help you make a pizza.

She's probably like mashing potatoes with a large potato masher.

I hope this helps. have fun!

get her a pair of kitchen shears to cut with, and a food chopper to chop food into small peices. The blades stay inside and retract when not pressed, so she should be okay with it.

She'd probably love an apron w/ her name embroidered on it. :-)
