Yes i have. My mother died of cancer and i have never been the identical due to the fact. That correct there was what started me questioning religion, having long past idea that. That is one of the foremost reasons I lost all religion in any gods. I've misplaced many adored ones (some in as an alternative horrific ways) but she's the only one who I misplaced to cancer. I used to be there the day she died. Now not a day goes via that i don't miss her and wish I might nonetheless talk to her. She wasn't just my mother, she used to be my best buddy. The only thing that did relief me used to be that she was not in soreness. You do not know how horrible it used to be to look at some of the beautiful girl i might even recognized waste away and die one of these painful and merciless dying. She was once a lot, a lot to younger to die. I feel the crimson ribbon is for breast cancer. (Which isn't what my mom died of.)

My favorite cousin died from breast cancer. She was diagnosed at age 36 and lived 15 years. The cancer spread to her bones before she passed away. Sorry about your grandmother. No matter how much we think we are prepared, death is always so difficult to deal with. Time heals.

One of my grandmothers had bladder cancer, the other had lung cancer (she was not a smoker). Both my grandfather's died from variations of leukemia.
My 5 year old cousin had cancer (I don't remember the technical term for hers, it started with a tumor on her kidney).
A very very good friend is nearing the end of her breast cancer battle.
I'm a breast cancer survivor myself.

My mother from lung cancer, one sister from breast cancer, one of my brothers from throat cancer, and I have had prostate cancer. Without a strong belief in God, I would never have gotten through all this.
