I love Coffee. I drink it to wake up! I have a cup at work to stay on my feet. I have a cup when I get home for my sweet tooth. I have one to go to bed on and relax. How about you?

Being a connoisseur of coffee, a coffe-a-holic and it being my major food source, it serves a multitude of purposes and probably sins. I wake up every morning because my beloved hubby places a hot, steamy cup next to my bed on the night stand and the very smell of it rouses me to my senses. After about my second cup (actually it is really a German Beer stein), I am ready to motivate out of bed and start my day. Do not speak to me or ask me to make important decisions until cup number 3 is completely drained. Employess know as does my hubby this is simply not in anyone's best interest. About 2-3 in the afternoon, fatigue sets in and so the grouchies come calling and the best possible way to put me in the frame of mind to approve just about anything sensible is to come bearing coffee in hand. Then sometime about 4 PM, I am getting in desperate need of some energy and am feeling drained by the excitement of the day, so certainly my friend called coffee comes calling. I really have a strict rule not to drink coffee after 6 PM (well yeah, it was 4 PM for a very long time, but you know as you age and when you know better you do better), but an after dinner cup o' joe, especially after a satisfying meal certainly is like the French digestif and nothing settles the food in better. What does it do for me? Why, coffee is my friend, my comfort and the energy source that fuels my success. And, besides I gave up soda about 5 years ago, lost a lot of weight and need caffine from somewhere - coffee is A LOT healthier than soda.

I take coffee in any form made any way. I have so many different ways of brewing, making, and dripping coffee. I love anything with coffee and when Im hospitalized, nurses have to put espresso in my morphine drip from going into toxic shock from the morphine! Lol! Just kidding. I've been drinking coffee since i was 14 and my size didn't change, my body has adjusted to it and i get headaches if i try to quit so i dont to avoid the headaches. However I avoid public coffee because of the poor corporate quality and foul burnt taste it has. I have a french press and coffeemaker in my cube with a coffee grinder and steamer for my convienence. I do wonder why people hit me up for double shots every morning!

When I have to wake up at 5:00 am to make it to class at 7:00 just to hear my teacher go on and on about transistors...That cup of coffee not only saves MY life, but also saves the teacher from getting a book thrown at his head.

I really like coffee, anytime, but I have noticed it makes my face and eyes puffy, even though I drink a lot of water while I am drinking coffee, both going all day and night! Anyone else have trouble with this puffiness?

i usually drink a starbucks doubleshot first thing after i wake up (the cold one) and then I need one or two cups a day to stay alive.. (by the way, with that pattern, I only need 5 hours of sleep a day with ALL the sleep i can get in the weekends.. isn't that just PERFECT!!)
