Get with it. Millions of galaxies of hundreds of millions of stars, and a speck on one in a blink. That's us, lost in space. The cop, you, me... Who notices?

I think about it sometimes, but it seems like a destructive thought path. I think it would be depressing to dweel on it, because really, every thing you do does really matter, at least to everyone around you. Shoulden't it be enugh that the things you do effect the people around you? well its enugh for me, the universe may not need me but humanity does, humanity needs all the humans it can get cause thats what make it grate.

yea, but a little differently. I think that we are so small, but so marvelous that as the angel said in the Psalm, "what is man that you would be mindful of him.., that you would give him dominion over the work of thy hands?"
The entire universe is in support of human life here on the planet Earth! Amazing. No other complex life has ever been seen, found, heard, or known except mankind here on Earth. Whew, wrap your mind around that!

Yes I have, a lot. Especially when I look out my window and up in the sky watching the stars. I feel so little and insignificant. It really does blow your mind thinking about it. All that we fret, worry or get upset about today will mean nothing 5 years from now.

Everytime we have clear night and I look up and see the stars it makes me realise my place in the universe - that in comparision I am tiny, but to God I have as much worth as the tiniest bug or the largest expanse of space.

Yes, I have. There are times when I get a glimpse at to how small and truly insignificant we are in the grand scheme of things. So much is out there, and we are stuck on this little oasis...

Yes, but we were created by God to commune with Him ,so that makes us very important. He wants our Praise and Love and Worship. He is the almighty and made us. No maatter how small we may be, WE ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO GOD.

Absolutely. It's beyond our imagination, and yet we think the whole universe is about us and our problems.
