I'm planning to get married here and was wondering if anyone has gotten married here or seen a wedding at this resort. Wondering if they do a good job. Thanks!

We stayed at that hotel for 5 nights/six days a couple years ago. It was outstanding. We had an ocean view room that was very lovely, large and comfortable. We stayed there on a Sand Dollar special that gave a fifth night free with an early booking and it included a buffet breakfast each morning. The Casino is rather small but nice and about the size of the casinos in the other hotels on the beach. Its walking distance from a few other hotels and restaurants. The beach is fabulous and they offer a dinner special of a dinner at sunset on the beach. I would go there again any time.

On my first visit to Aruba we stayed at the Marriott Stellaris for 5 days. It is a great first class hotel right on the beach (I think its called Palm Beach). It has all types of activities, some shops, restaurant, a concierge, and a casino. We had an ocean view room that had a huge balcony on the side of the hotel facing the ocean and in the direction of the lighthouse. The room was huge and very comfortable. We got a good rate, called "sand dollar" special that gave us 5 nights for the price of 4. Also you can get a lower rate by paying in full up front; no refund option. There are other hotels with a casino and restaurants in walking distance. That hotel is the last hotel on that beach. You can catch a bus to town right there also; that's what we did.
