Because NO ONE SHOULD FOLLOW IT.

Basically, it suits christians because they can make any text from the bible fit their lame thoughts and biases and discriminations.

If you're going to read it for ANY purpose, it should be just as a regular novel.

I feel sorry for the sheep who follow it.

The Bible was written over many centuries by people with many backgrounds and many agendas. Some were royal scribes (who wanted to make the king look good) and some were popular prophets who were very unhappy with what the kings were doing. Some were working from sketchy information and did the best they could with what they had.

Sometimes, the biblical editors wanted to keep stories that were similar but not identical. Rather than throwing out a good story, they ended up putting in both. That's how we ended up with two creation stories in Genesis 1.

You do not have think that biblical writers were lying in order to explain the contradictions in their work. Some people "solve" the problems of contradictions by asserting that there are no contradictions. A better answer (ISTM) is to accept that God is willing to work with limited fallible beings, and is not above letting them get things wrong once in awhile and putting things that weren't exactly his highest priority -- like those prohibitions against shaving and eating shell food.

The Bible is a fascinating and valuable document when you get your head out of the specific details (where human beings tend to leave their fingerprints) and focus on the messages you hear over and over -- love God and love your neighbor.

Already answered this once, but NO contradictions in the Bible, only text mis-translations in a few contexts, but NO contradictions, just illiterate Bible students.

The Bible does not have ANY contradictions; none.

Sadly, far too many readers take particular chapters and verses out of context.
The latter is simply a lack of understanding.
One can increase their understanding of the word through prayer.

Because the men who wrote it didn't realize how paradoxical it was. Since 85% of the people were illiterate at the time, nobody could point out any errors or contradictions.

There were at least 40 authors of 72 books over 3000 years.
What more interesting is the single theme of salvation.

There are none. There are people from different religions or sects who try to discredit one another. They do this by reading a portion from the Bible that suits their needs in discrediting one another. They are trying to show that they are the "true" religion. You have to read the Bible entirely and pray that you be guided by the Holy Spirit in finding out the "Truth".

It would help if you mentioned the contradictions you had in mind. That way maybe we could answer.
But to answer in general, I would say that there are things that seem to be contradictions but they are not if they are read correctly and in context.
