Above are both right. Here are some links may help you to learn more. Remember, you can't claim any expenses, if your employer were able reimburse you, but you did not do paper works. Also you may be able to take depreciation deduction for the business use percentage.

Schedule C - a Sole Proprietor's Profit or Loss from his Business-So it is not the one you need.

Lastly, if you only itemize (which means your standard deduction is less than your itemized deduction, so you choose the itemized deduction), you can deduct those vechicle related expenses.

You will not need to do a Schedule C because because you are not self-employed or have a business. You may want to look at a 2106 form "Employee Business Expenses". You will use this form for expenses associated with your job that your employer did not reimburse you for including your vehicle. You can go to the IRS web site at: irs.gov and download the 2106 form and instructions.

My kinfolk has team coverage by using a company. each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days the funds taken out of one of our pay exams for healthcare coverage is reported to the IRS because of the fact we are in a position to deduct for that. No exchange for me. next question. ***enable me upload too: if i did no longer have team scientific coverage i might have a man or woman plan for my kinfolk and that i might unquestionably comprise the funds I pay for that in the time of my tax returns. Tgat is purely undemanding experience as every person who will pay taxes might understand that can be a tax deduction. If every person who doesnt have scientific coverage has to fill out one greater style... properly, so be it. Filling out a style isn't a extensive inconvenience. you're performing like this could be corresponding to having a stroke. it is not.

You have two W-2s. You should get a mileage reimbursement. If you don't, you can deduct your mileage as a misc itemized deduction on Schedule A provided you itemize and the deductions exceeds 2% of your income. Also, if you don't get a mileage reimbursement, you should negotiate to get one or agree to take a pay cut compensated by mileage reimbursement, that way you won't have income and no ability to deduct expenses.

Also: DON'T TYPE IN ALL CAPS. IT IS CONSIDERED SHOUTING AND IS HARD TO READ.

Form 1040 is a catch all form. Anyone can use this form.

If you want to deduct your mileage as an expense item, I believe that you will need to use form 2106 or form 2106ez as well.
