they are constantly sweaty whether or not im nervous. When ever i write essays i always need tissues to dry my hands and they become soaked after about 1 minute. I never want to hold peoples hands, shake hands, or arm wrestle. Its EMBARRASING and i do not want to constantly put baby powder on my hands

You may not just need a deodorant. You may have a medical condition like I do. You need to see a dermatologist. You may be suffering from hyperhidrosis. I suffer from this and have been since I was 13. I am now 21. Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating unrelated to heat. You will sweat even when it is cold outside. My dermatologist told me this condition was genetic. I had hand, armpit, and feet sweating. It would get so bad, that I was embarassed to shake someone's hand or even be seen out in public because I would have dark sweat stains on my shirt. There are many treatments for this including pills, botox injections, and even surgery. I don't know how bad your sweating is or if it is causing you any public embarassment (which it seems to be), but I'd speak with a dermatologist. My doctor said it was partially hormonal. I take Ditropan XL which is an anticholineric drug that is used to treat over active bladder. I don't have that condition but the side effect of the med. causes a decrease in sweating. This has been a miracle drug for me! Now my hands and armpits are dry. Speak to your doctor about what's right for you. There are treatment options out there. Good luck!

sweaty hands means you must really like him! trust me, his hand is probably just as sweaty is yours when he's thinking about you. Plus, if he's so shallow that holding the sweaty hand of someone he cares about is gross, then he's not for you! haha You could try holding it loosely, or just holding a couple fingers

It is genetic. I can't remember the name of it but my boyfriend has it. It bothers him more than I.He hates to shake hands with people. I like the contrast of warm/cold on my body. he does not sweat all the time but it is his hands and feet (he wears athletic socks and covers them with dark socks for work.) Girls really don't care about it.Least of our worries

Hands do that often when anxious.
Part of stress response of body. Originally to help us stick to trees or anything we would want.
Rarely is part of a complex called hyperhidrosis.

It's normal for your hands to sweat now and then. If you really are worried and think it's sweating more than normal and something is not right I advise you to visit your doctor as soon as you can.

This isn't healthy for you but you can stop exercising for a while and calm yourself down a bit maby that could help. If not keep on repeating to yourself in your mind that you will not sweat, you will not sweat, you will not sweat! And it could go away! (:

Well, if it happens if your nervous, that's fine. But otherwise, it doesn't seem like a major problem. Just Google it.
