Jesus was a hebrew. An Arab who happened to be Jewish...not a European.

Saying it doesn't matter is like saying does it matter if the whole Christian thing is true or not....if you believe it in the first place.
Of course it matters.

Jesus - Yesu, as the Catholics say. Yesu is an Assin(Essen) tribal name. This is from a tribe that lived in the Ugandan region with the Akan Nation(Now on the coast of West Africa) and scattered over the earth and in the islands of the seas. They moved to southern Egypt to settle and become the historic Egyptians, then they were thrown out by the Nubian, another set of Africans (of Abyssinia) and became the Afrim(Ephraim) These people occupied Palestine before the Romans plundered and took charge from the Greeks. The Assin tribe of yesu now lives in the region of Ghana, but many came here as slaves. That is how the new portrait of Yesu came in. In convincing the people of the New World that slavery would be justifiable, Christopher Columbus' brother who was of high stature in the Roman Catholic faith declared that Africans were soulless and fit for the rigors of slavery. At the same time, the dark pictures of Yesu and the Maddona started dissapearing, being replaced by new ones. If slavery was to happen and the predicted desolations of Dwoada(Judah) and Afrim(Ephraim) was to take place, then the white people could not be told that these were the people of the Bible. Zion where they once lived became a fantasy in the sky, North East Egypt even turned to the middle east. In AD 70 the Roman ruler chased out the Africans out of Palestine in what was similar to the apartheid system in South Africa. In AD 132, the ruler of Rome again followed up with visious destructions of these people - even kkk style executions on crosses. The Assin remnants or Essens from which Jesus came were finally driven out to erase the black images according to the prophecies. The lands were desolate except for strangers who now inhabitted it. Of interest is the fact that the Roman Catholic is the only Church that still uses the exact Assin tribal name 'Yesu'. The other Churches use corrupted names to hide the identity. However, the Africans can easily decipher these things. It is the white people who will be conned.

Most believers do not and have never believed Jesus has blond hair and blue eyes. Where do you folks get these ideas? He probably had dark skin, hair and eyes. We don't care what anyone thinks he looks like, but we know it's not what you have said we believe. And we have faith in him. We believe in him. You don't scare us that easily. Tell me where some of these blond-haired blue eyed Jesus' are. I've never ever seen such a thing. I've seen some African American Jesus paintings though, and I love him anyway. Even if he's a she, that's OK.

Because of a painting done by a German artist - I forget the guy's name. He painted Jesus to look like what he was familiar with - brown hair, blue eyes. That depiction became popular in the West.

Jesus probably looked a lot like Gene Simmons. Seriously. Maybe without the tongue and dragon boots, but similar features. Scary, eh?

I don't believe in it, so it doesn't matter to me, personally...yet, I still have an opinion(surprise!)If Jesus was from that part of the world, he should look like Julio Iglesias with a beard and long hair...OMG(no pun intended...)he would be sooo hot if that were the case...Jesus!

It's because we have to "Americanize" everything. I don't believe most Christians truly think of Jesus like that. We know he was a Jew, and Jews do not look like that. It's like asking why do you always see Jesus around little children, and smiling? Yes, he was a very gentle human, but when you read about Jesus, he was THE most hardcore man who has ever lived. He was so humble, yet He was so extreme. To stand up to the Pharases and to overturn tables in the temple took an extreme person. Jesus is love, and that's how I picture Him...

Let's get real here...No, Jesus isn't blond.. He says "My skin is dark from the sun". But don't blame us...Our Jesus would be Native American! It's European artists that have drawn the pictures of Jesus...Besides, no one knows what He looks like...NO ONE.

Not American But, Ive never seen that. Any Way In some parts of Africa He is Shown Black (Which is more possible than white) and in China He is Shown Asian. Yet is still impossible for him to be Blond and Blue Eyed, Though that's a picture white supremacist might have.

Well I've never seen a blonde Jesus, but most mainstream pictures of Jesus depict the Jesus made popular by artists during the renaissance.

I like to picture my Jesus in a tuxedo t-shirt because it says I mean business, but I like to party.

I like to picture my Jesus as baby Christmas Jesus. Only a baby, can't even utter a word, but He's still omnipotent.

I have never seen a picture of a blond haired Jesus, and Jesus could have had blue eyes. Usually he is portrayed with brown hair, olive skin, and a distinct nose and cheekbones and usually with blue eyes. My Dad's friend looks similar to the way I would imagine Jesus and he is Jewish and has blue eyes. Where do you think Europeans came from?

It's just a picture, dude.

Actually the image I have of Jesus is of an ebony-skinned Rasta with thick dreads and a halo of weed smoke around his head.
