I keep the individual wrappers they come in and roll the pad up and place it back into the wrapper. After that is done i take a plastic shopping bag and put them in there, then toss the bag in the garbage.

In an all adult household it's easy to just fold them and put them in the bin, especially if they are the kind with a sticky back.
Sharing a house with others (including kids), wrap in the paper/plastic from the newly opened pad or in toilet paper, and also dispose of in the bin.
Cheers :-)

All and any of the above just as long as you do something. When I walk into a public rest room and see some woman has just left a mess and not even bothered to wrap it in toilet paper or whatever, I wonder who raised this person. Just keep in mind that someone else must use this bathroom beside you and do what you can to keep it nice for them.

Menopause, gotta love it for this reason alone. After 37 years of dealing with that crap, finally no more! However, when I did have to deal with it, rolled it up in a ball, and wrapped it with a lot of toilet paper, toss it in the trash can in the bathroom. The one with the lid on it, of course.

I use toilet paper. Too much actually. I wrap my used pads several times before throwing them away.

when i am inthe bathroom with none in sight i do this, tear up the pad and throw the inside stuff not the plastic hey, in the toilet and i wash the plastic which is the outer, that one i glady thro in the bin. i cant stand anyone seeing my blood. that way you are assured your toilet never blocks. its your blood why pretending as if it didnt come out of you and you will always wash your hand with soap and water. yor home wont smel and the inside stuff loosens the moment you throw it in the toilet. even when you have pet in the home if that plastic is removed from the bin....... no embarssment at all as it will be just as clean!!!!

wwell, I use tampons so i just flush, but if I used pads, I would probably wrap them in toilet paper prior to throwing in the trash.
