That is NOT true in our family. My wife and our son have struggeled to get along with each other for the past 35 yrs (since his age 12). Our daughter and my wife have ALWAYS gotten along great (except for a few curfew violations in teen yrs). Now they are great friends.

Mine wasn't. But in general, perhaps it is because some daughters are too similar to their moms, and therefore clash. Many guys are very easygoing and don't hyperanalyze things the way girls often do.

I think its just instinct most of the time. But you're right i get on a lot better with my boys than we did with our mom. :)

cause we are taught at an early age from our dads to just listen to mom and do what she wants and keep her happy lol.

its pretty simple, boys dont really have that much to say to their moms so this way they get along but they really don't talk about anything you shold be greatful. and the only reason moms dont really get along wit girls is cause they are scared of wat you might talk about.
