i would like to remind anyone that the USA has been trying to shape ( has been intervening in ) every single economy of every single country they been able to in Latin America for the last century ( yes 100 years or more ) . that i would remind them specially because there seems to be a huge part of the population in American which seems to ignore that the USA has supported the corruption which has led many to immigrate to the USA . then i would like to explain than the reason why they ( the American corporations ) have done it is mainly because of greed and because it has given the upper hand to the USA so far .
i personally do not hate or dislike the Americans , many are my friends and in fact i think that America is probably the best country in the world and i think that people tend to forget that and tend to ignore what its done in their names to keep America that way . yes every single person coming into the USA should make it the right way ( legally ) but the question here should be why is it that they do not do it and i think that one of the main answers is : because of the huge corruption which doesn't allow them to make a better life in their own countries , corruption which history proves has been supported and catered in great part by the USA .
in my opinion
first ) part of the solution is to acknowledge what the USA has caused to other countries .
second ) every single "free trade agreement" should be made a real free trade agreement which allows them ( the countries the agreement is being made with ) to compete against farmers ratter than against the whole USA government and their unfair help in form of subsides which only help the top producers and not small farmers are they supposedly suppose to do .
third ) trillions of dollars should be invested in the whole region ( all of America ( the continent ) ) making sure that we are investing in projects which help at least the whole continent to be cleaner and to contaminate less while those projects help the people in those regions to learn to live a better lives while being cleaner as nations .
fourth ) we need to allow every single undocumented ( with out criminals records ) to pay a fee and allow them to come out of the shadows while offering them being part of this nation .
... and i think that would be all . to me all seems pretty simple because we have to do it anyways or we are gonna have to face bigger challenges if we don't start as soon as possible .
just as a note : every single place which has tried to get rid of the undocumented has suffer an economic setback . there were not gains but loses so now lets just think about the impact this would have in the economy of every city which highly depends of them and ask ourselves , why would it be any different all across America ???
edit :
i would like to make an analogy :
lets think that we have two houses , one next to the other and from one house there is people which trow matches every single day to the other house . some matches just fall in the floor , some fall in the chimney and some start burning some of the rooms and leave those in those rooms with two options one of them being waiting till they get help knowing that some will suffocate and get burn or to try to escape from one of the windows which can take them to the other house , some choose the second option and find that the people in the second house help them and give them buckets of water which they trow at their burning house , however there is many which do not fully comprehend why are the neighbors in their house and accuse them of stealing their water and think that they should had stay and help from inside of their house and they might be right , however if we think of the situation one realizes that if matches had not been trowed from the first house to the second then nobody from the first house would be in the second , one should release too than it would be unfair to treat those from the first house bad just because some think they do not belong in there and this is how i see it .

The problem has been growing for many years. We have for the most part turned a blind eye toward that problem because, the business love the cheap labour and it does keep some prices of things down somewhat. The government I think will do something and I think it will be serious, but, I think that it will cause a lot of heartache and problems. This should have been dealt with 20 years ago. I hope they do get off their arses and try to do something and maybe even something right about the issue. Fingers crossed. lol. The largest problem now is that the illegals think they are something important and that they are going to be immune to some of the growing discontent in the USA. I have a feeling that if the government doesn't do something soon, this could start turning into a bloodbath not only on the borders, but in the cities. The citizens of the USA are beginning to get really tired of the illegals trying to destroy our heritage, flag, and government and there are going to be some that will take it into their own hands.

I am against illegal immigration. That said....here is an example though, to ponder.
Residents of tiny Newton, Iowa, wake up to the distressing news that a Chinese firm wants to buy their biggest employer, the famed but foundering Maytag appliance company. Two days later, out of nowhere, a massive, government-owned Chinese oil company muscles into the bidding for America’s Unocal. The very next day a ship in Xinsha,China, loads the first Chinese-made cars bound for the West, where they’ll compete with the products of Detroit’s struggling old giants.
All in one week. And only two months earlier a Chinese company most Americans had never heard of took over the personal computer business formerly owned—and mismanaged into billions of dollars of losses—by the great IBM.
The Point: The problem isn’t Chinese companies threatening U.S. firms. It’s U.S. workers unable to compete with those in China—or India, or South Korea. The real question is, "Can Americans compete?"
U.S. standard of living, after decades of steady ascent, could stall or even begin to decline. There is the chance that if the world’s most powerful nation finds itself getting poorer rather than richer, some kind of domestic or even global political crisis might follow.
Who is most threatened? What will it take to make America stronger in a new economic world? What political forces could propel—or derail—progress? The truth is that large companies transcended nationality long ago, and globalization gives them as many opportunities as problems. It increasingly lets them hire, source, and sell wherever they like, and that is basically good news no matter where the incorporation papers are filed.
Do you see now why low-wage workers - even illegals - are being allowed to work, to save a buck- so that mega US corporations can compete on a global basis and why the goverment isn't enforcing deportation in a way that it really could?

From what I've been reading about on Answers, the most important point I would like to get across is that just because you are against illegal immigration does not mean you are racist. A racist is someone who hates someone else because of their skin color or nationality. I am not against anyone because they are from Mexico or anywhere else. I am against people coming into our country without following the procedures that they are supposed to go through. I just want the laws of our country to be followed. And if you refuse to do that, stay away.

Many many Citizens of the United States have no bad feelings about Mexican Citizens. And many enjoy tourism back and forth between countries.
But when a citizen of one country wants to move or gain employment in another country - there are Visa and Immigration laws that are to be followed.
I would be the first person to say to Mexican Citizens that are tired of not having good paying jobs in Mexico - to stand up and vote for a difference - build better education programs, improve community infrastructure.
I've been to rural Mexico many times and it is night and day different than rural United States.
One thing to understand is that while the country of Mexico borders the United States - and there are many trade and friendly ties between the countries - there are more than 1billion people in this world who ALSO want to come to the United States for work and a happy future.
Why should people from Mexico be allowed different status than people from China, Vietnam, Argentina, Peru, Namibia, Tanzania, Sudan, Czech Republic, Armenia, Iraq, India, or even more prosperous countries like Australia or Dubai.
The media is making more of the whole Mexican Illegal Immigrant issue - when in fact there are just as many illegal people in the US from other countries.
If everyone who wanted to come to the US were able to just walk in - this country would double in size within a few weeks. And many will have college degrees and professional skills.
So - I say to you - while I hate the way the Media is portraying Mexican citizens that are in the US - I truely believe that Mexico as a country could improve their own quality of life in Mexico - and less people would want or need to come to the US for work or a happy life.
Just think if 20% of the people with 1st or 2nd generation Mexican Heritage that are living in the United States - were to return to Mexico - the entire country's education level would increase, the entrepreneurial opportunity would grow and the politics would become less unethical (yes I know for a fact that public workers are taking bribes again now that Fox is no longer President)
Even if these people would just push their "old country" into improvements the entire issue of Mexico vs US would slowly become better.
The question is - Can Mexico improve the quality of life for its citizens - enough to keep people from leaving?

It's not racist to hate Mexicans, or the Mexican culture- although it is racist to hate people because they have brown skin, or are from a "paticular race". I have mixed opinions about latinos in general and have many friends that are from different latino countries. My anger is with the sell outs of America that hire these illegals. Martial law should be imposed on illegals at the new fence just as you would looters. They commit this crime to obtain things they wouldn't have normally in mass numbers to overpower our recources (border patrol) to obtain an illegal objective. An unninvited Mexican millitary crossing in to American soil would be considered an armed invasion anywere else in the world. I am so glad this site has calmed down since the last time I stopped by. I live in NWA. this area has always had a great economy, low crime rate, and a small town feel. There was a population explosion, opening unlimited construction work, combined with several giant poultry producers "playing stupid" with their hiring tactics created a feeding frenzy for illegals. The local naive governments, not having a clue about what the consiquences of an overwhelming flow of illegals would mean, and threw out their arms with a "welcome the new commers" game plan. Our school systems were sucked dry, graffiti started cropping up, and our downtown area looked like a flea market in 10 short years. They took over the downtown areas at night with latino"polka" blarring out their windows and the police were constantly busy responding to the bar fights, loud music calls and loitering. It's taken alot of work and effort to reverse the tide. With the growth boom over many illegals have moved on. ICE has really impressed me with the raids they have made in our area (so be patient and keep informing, it works). The other day they arrested an illegal that owned several buisiness's(17). They confinscated over 3 million in assets and real estate so far. They also are deporting about 24 illegals that were employed by this guy. ICE has busted several poultry plants resulting in large numbers of arrests. They arrested several illegals at a local flea market that were running one of the biggest pirated DVD rings of all time. Identity theft is not a victomlous crime and they are ALWAYS are guilty of the law they broke when they eluded federal agents at the border. Find you and we will spend the tax payers money to inforce the law. The government has been cornered by the people and have been forced to react. Big biz is a powerfull thing but the power of millions of armed American citizens willing to protect our soviernty at any cost will prevail. Time is running out for our crooked, spineless government to solve this problem once and for all.If United we stand or devided we fall then so be it one way or the other..........Lock and load........obtain your concealed weapon permit.

Give legal citizens illegal alien rights...
4 felony convictions before imprisonment
Free food, housing, medical care, and schooling from the government.
Use of diplomatic/consular status to avoid arrest for anything.
Or defund all illegal aliens
No free food, housing, medical care, or schooling from the governent.
Deportation to a country of our choosing on any felony conviction.
Imprisonment for illegal aliens on major counts at GITMO.
No access to US courts or procedures.
Reciprocal treatment for all illegal aliens as their home countries would treat illegal aliens.
Law enforcement at all levels may challenge status and enforce laws based on status at any time with probable cause.
then maybe they would no longer choose to enter illegally or stay illegal.
Oh and lets not forget to build a real fence and give the border patrols freedom to do their jobs without getting arrested for doing so.
I am all for legal immigration. Both parties of elected officials have chosen to make this the problem we have today. Enforcement of the Reagan laws would have helped to prevent much of this. There is no need for new laws. There is a need to break treaties which are used to undermine US laws and the enforcement of those laws.
One of these days, an OTM illegal, may be a jihadist, with a suitcase nuke. Jericho becomes reality with a different subplot.

As an illegal, they do not have the right to vote in any of our elections. No matter how tempting it may be. Or whoever tells them that "it's okay to do so". Only legit registered citizens get to vote in any and all of our elections.
