Let's say the argument that Atheists have 'no morals' was true.( I know its not true since I am one) How would that prove God? Only thing it would prove is that people need to be scared in to being good... which only makes humanity look worse.

Haha. I like the way you think, very much.

As an atheist, I know what you mean. One day, a Catholic woman; one of my friends' mothers, met me for the first time. I was in all black, heavy eyeliner, hairstyle that would make nuns cry, the whole nine yards.

Just the same, presuming that I was a Christian, she treated me with respect and kindness. Upon getting to know me, she realized that I was genuinely a good person. However, the day she learned I was an atheist, was the day she lost all respect for me.

I don't get it: She thought I was a good person. Then, she learned of my faith. Without my having to do a single negative thing, she managed to lose all respect for me.

That's like falling in love with someone, then learning that their mother's favorite color is yellow, which you hate, so you end the relationship: It's irrelevent beyond all belief.

I think that Christians DO believe it's proof, but in such a way that: If 100% of Christians have morals, and 100% of atheists do not, the variable in this situation is the belief of the subject. Hence, they feel that morals are defined by the variable, in this case, God: Those with God have aforementioned morals; those without God, do not.

Nyeh.

People are weird.

What atheists call morals, Christians call violations of God's word. When an atheist says gay marriages are cool and should be legal, what kind of response do you honestly think you're going to get from a Christian about your "morals"? As for "proving" God lives, I don't have to. He already did live on this miserable rock once. His name then was Christ.

Atheist morality has nothing to do with proving there is a God. I am a Christian and I don't have to prove God is to anyone. Being a Christian is about faith in God by Jesus Christ and trying to follow His will. No one is morally perfect.

Should we turn the light upon the christian 'morality'?!?

Christians are SELF professed sinners. If a sinner is willing to LIE and DEFY their OWN god, the truth is nothing is sacred to them. If a sinner is willing to LIE and DEFY their OWN god, how can a mere human expect things like truth or morals from a sinning christian.

SHould we look at the basics that defne the christian morality?! Christians CLAIM being into human sacrifice (killing 'Jesus' to clean up all the sin/evil they bring into the world), the also condone the practice of ritual Cannibalism (communion), venerate BAAL Hos: 2:16-17 says the LORD, “ That you will call ME ‘ISHI’ (or ‘YHWH’) and no longer call ME ‘BAAL’. For I will take from her mouth the names of the Ba’als, and they shall be remembered by their name no more., and also actively CONVERT people, even though its an abomination to not only the Laws of God, deuteronomy 13, but also the teaching of 'Jesus' in Matt 23:15.

Christianity is just the reinstatement of the old pagani hebrew tradition. In Hosea and Habakkuk, we learn of the 'sons of Ephraim'--the pagan Hebrews of Israel, they venerated a stick of wood, offered up human sacrifice upon high places--like MT Calvary, used human sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin, even going so far as eating the flesh and blood of their sacrifice similar to the ritual cannibalism of communion, and relished in their sin, just as Christians do. One should note that Ephraim was the son of Joseph, born in Bethel, and 'ALSO' referred to as the 'right hand of the father."

Hab 2:16, the cup from the LORD's right hand is coming around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 what has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.

Some atheist are moral people. Many good people are lost people.
I think what someone may be driving at here is the source of your desire to be moral. If that source is God then your morality will be righteous. If the source of the desire to be moral come from the person, then the quality of that morality will be subjective. What I see as moral, may not be what you see as moral.

It doesn't prove God. Everybody has morals. The difference is where a person gets their sense of morality (God, self, what feels good, etc.)

It doesn't prove God's existence. It seems to me they might need a little reassurance and are not strong enough in faith to know that trying to prove God's existance is pointless. I believe in God and don't need any proof but others don't. I know the sentence "Atheist have no morals" is incorrect because I have friends who are atheists. I don't know why they say that. Some of my atheist friends even go to the poker runs that our church hosts because it is a good cause. I'm sorry if someone did say this to you. I know it doesn't help since I wasn't the one that said it but I'm sorry anyways.

Anyone who believes in a god or divine creator is treated like a five year old who needs direction. I personally feel I am beyond being five years old and do not need to be treated like a child for the remainder of my life.

Churches and all the religions treat their flocks [as in sheep] like they are low life infants. It is a sorry situation.
