How do you get rid of hemmroids?

Standing for a long time and lifting heavy things doesn't help, either. Prep H, sitting in very warm bath and stool softeners help. But as others have said....the only way to get RID of them is surgically. Doing the rest of the suggestions will reduce the swelling and resolve the symptoms, and if you are lucky you won't know you have them until the next flare-up.

getting rid of them forever means having them removed either by a procedure called banding where the dr actually wraps rubber bands around them and strangulates them, or surgically removed i think they use a laser procedure now.

they will get inflammed and go down, but a permanent way to get rid of them is called a hemmoroidectomy (removal of)...contact a general surgeon.
