Hi. Call your pastor or minister and speak with the person doing the music (organist?) first. Most churches have certain ideas of the music that they will allow. I love church weddings and don't find the music boring at all! Most will allow more modern songs but check with whomever is "doing" the music first.

We are Lutheran (Like the lady above). Our pastor only allows music that honors God, and rightfully so. There will be plenty of time for "fun" music at the reception. Try this site for starters:

try this site to listen to ceremony music:

We hired our church organist for $100. She showed us some wonderful choices, although most churches discourage "here comes the bride" they allow it. Here comes the bride is not a traditional church song and our organist said she thought it came from an old movie. lol.

Check with the church before you get your heart set on something. Some churches don't allow "fun" wedding music.

not sure where you want the song in the ceremony... but when my husband and i were announced and Mr. and Mrs. and we walked back down the aisle, we walked/danced to "signed, sealed, delivered" it was kind of an inside joke between the two of us but everyone laughed and started dancing and clapping and what not... it was a lot of fun! and definitely not your traditional wedding song.

If the church allows it, you could play "Lost in This Moment" by Big N Rich. its a fun, upbeat song. I'm using it for my recessional.
