According to Jesus, it probably wouldn't matter to most. In His story of the rich man & Lazarus, it ended with this:

"He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.'" (Luke 16:31)

If an atheists can see a person parting waterways and doing incredible miracles in person with his own eyes, I think he will be convinced this person has super power. Whether he will believe this person is the "son of God", I am not sure. Actually,no one has ever seen such a thing said in your story, so the whole thing became a man made fiction. It can only be called a religion - If you believe, then, there is a God. It is not science - that needs to be proofed.

do you already know greater effective than the individuals who witnessed Zeus casting lightening from the sky? people who observed first-hand the great chariot that attracts the solar around the sky? The visions of infinite followers of Athena, Thor, Buddha, Mithras, Isis... you could no longer circulate returned in time and counter their documented testimony, so it must be actual. by using fact somewhat no one has EVER written approximately issues that are no longer actual or by no ability occurred. And what greater valuable evidence is there than a e book written hundreds of years in the past, via people who thought leprosy grew to become into cured via rubbing poultry blood on human beings?

not a atheist

never seen a miracle saw a person put a needle though a mans upper arm and there was no blood.

i believe the thing that this man supposedly did was a lie, and wish full thinking by the writers in the subsequent years to push there faith.

seen few gurus that others claim to be gods and they went.

Do you believe Chris Angel is god, because I have seen him do things that no human man or woman is capable of and I cannot explain them. He must be performing miracles.

Do you now see how your mind can trick you into believing the unbelievable? The saying, "Your mind is playing tricks on you" didn't just appear out of no where. There was a reason for it. Have you ever considered that Jesus was nothing more than a con man who happened to be very talented? After all, humans are not that hard to fool. Do you see why your argument doesn't hold water and should not be enough to make you believe that Jesus was the son of God? Seeing isn't always believing!!!

No, even then they will not believe, remember the rich man and the begger? the rich man died and went to hell, while the begger died and went to heaven, and from there the rich man begged for the former begger to just dip his finger in cold water to be sent to him in hell and quench his thirst? but was told, that there was a prism, separating them so that the former begger was unable to do that, so then, the former rich man begged to be sent back from the dead and hell so that he could warn his family of the terrible torment of hell that really exist's, and again was told that the living have moses and the prophets to listen to and believe them, because if they would not believe them, then niether would they believe if someone were to return from the dead and hell. Isn't that true? they don't even believe, although Jesus returned from the dead.

Jesus told of Lazarus who had died and found himself in hell and in the story, Lazarus was a rich man who knew of poor man who was a pauper, hungry, and laying outside near His gate. Though the poor man was only wanting some crumbs to eat, Lazarus refused him and as they both died, Lazarus went to hell and the poor man went to paradise. Lazarus seen the poor man from a distance and cried out for Him to come and dip his finger into some water so that he could receive some comfort but Abraham said that the poor man was separated from him and could not come to where he was. So He ask that someone come from the grave to prove to His 5 brothers of this place of torments but again Abraham refused him say, they have the Prophets and the Holy Scriptures, let them prove of this place for even if One was to rise up from the grave to prove to them, they will not believe. So, the same applies to atheists, They have the Bible and a Church on every corner and yet if they can not believe in these truths, then even if someone rose from the dead, they will not believe but one day find themselves in the same flames that Lazarus is still in today and will be forever! Search the Holy Scriptures for they all point to Jesus Christ as your answers to everything in this life and the life to come.

Sure, if i saw something convincing like that, i would get on my knees and beg for mercy.
The problem is, people say they saw that stuff thousands of years ago, when they knew nothing of science, and were incredibly gullible.

So if some hobo walks up to me in the street and tells me hes the messiah, im going to act like i didnt notice him, and continue towards the mall.

Many followers of Sai Baba claim that he can do all of these things.

I would want to examine the evidence carefully in this day of Chris Angel. But if I found that it was not a trick, I would be convinced, of course.

If people can be fooled in this day and age, imagine how easily they were fooled 2000 years ago.
