This person needs to mature a bit. It isn't your fault if he is emotionally unable to handle rejection. The best way to let him know you don't want a relationship is to be direct. Don't try to cover up the message. He needs to know how you feel about him so he can have a clean break. If there is any doubt, he will still be interested in you. You can also tell him that you are interested in someone else so he knows for sure that he is not going to receive your affections. You should thank him for the necklace, but let him know that he should think twice before spending that much on someone who isn't interested in him. Hopefully, he'll learn his lesson. I feel sorry that my gender is so socially challenged.

As a male who's a downed down my many girls, I can tell you that there is no easy way. His feelings will get hurt. You will return his gift and tell him, "thank you but I really can't accept this... By accepting it I would be giving you the wrong message. I'm sorry."

Just write him a letter like you wrote here...include all of the "spelling errors" that you used. The sheer stupidity will be a definate turn off. Or, you could use spell check...

Pretend like you think it's just a friend date. Hang out with him. Maybe he just wants to be friends. And, DO NOT tell him you don't like him on a date, or he will just sit there being embarresed. Maybe you could get to like him. But, if you don't just try to avoid him at all times. Or, tell him that you're busy that day and maybe another day. I hope this helps. Good luck!

If that is a $50.00 necklace, then it is way too much, and you have to return it. Just say that you are "going through something" right now, and do not want to be in a relationship with anyone.

yea just try once if it doesn't work out then let him down easy by apoligizing. Its not your fault its just that you dont have any feelings for him. this has happened to me before but as long as you guys are freinds i think it'll be ok

tell him you think he is a nice person, you would treasure
him as a friend, but not a boyfriend
you could also say you are involved with someone else
but you are flattered by the attention he has shown you.
be nice, and polite, good luck.

Show him an example of your poor grammar and spelling, like your question you posted, and he's bound to lose interest.
