I believe there are things that happen beyond the measurements of science that fall in to the realm of metaphysics. Maybe someday we will be able to measure them. Until then I opt to keep an open mind that we do not know everything.

Metaphysics is a type of philosophy. It's very interesting. It can get very confusing. It asks questions like what is real, and is there really a world outside of my thoughts...

The study of what we can know, and how we can know it, could be called metaphysics; epistemology is also a good word for it.
