I have been seeing someone for close to 4 years now. Its an on again off again thing. I am beginning to wonder if my view of a relationship is different than hers. What is your view of a relationship? Is it where you do everything together 24/7? Do you have other interests outside of one another? Is it somewhere in between? ...........tell me......... :)

you do alot together but you should also have some you time. if you are together 24/7 you will get bored and irritated. its good to have different interests as you are still 2 separate people not just a 'couple'

All relationships are different. With my late husband, we did everything together and went everywhere together, but we had similar interests and were very compatible. We were buddies, soul mates, and best friends as well as spouses. Not all relationships are like that, and that is ok. It is ok to have some separate interests outside of each other. Whatever works for both of you is all that matters. However, if one of you is unhappy with how things are, then you need to talk about it to see if a compromise can be reached. But you cannot judge your relationship by the relationships of others.

Generally it's somewhere inbetween.Maybe I like to bowl and you don't....or you are a mall shopper and I HATE them...You have to have a life seperate from each other as well as together,but personalities dictate how much time is needed together.

my veiw of it is wanting to be with someone and actually being with them not and braking up constinatly. also, not being around each other 24/7 and having other things to do then just be with them but still they are pretty much the best thing to be with.

It seems like really good friends or friends with benefits almost idk what to tell you thats very strange its been going for 4 years id say its just a friend thing almost because i have girl thats a friend i do everything with. So id ask her what she thinks
