If the found someone who made them happier??
or just wanted out of the relastionship.

PLEASE DON'T MAKE ANY ASSumptions....ITS JUST A QUESTION...in regards to how much YOU "LOVE" the person you are with.

Been there, done that.I was married to a man I adored for 24 years. He fell out of love with me and was having a relationship with a married woman..Why would I try to hang unto someone even though our religion doesn't believe in divorce. Her kids were the same age as ours.It was embarressing for everyone. Her husband didn't care that she was running around. But I'll bet her kids did.So I told him to go and make it right.Get her out of the marriage home so people would quite talking about it.Let our kids on both sides
have some peace.I have never regretted my decision.
Oh and by the way, he started cheating on her.

I'm not with him, but I've been in this suitation before.
He found someone else that he was happier with that went to his school(we were long distance) and yeah, we broke up but it worked out for the better.
I really loved him but I figured that she could love him better than I ever could since I don't live near him.

I would let a person go...not because I love them enough to do so, but because I love myself enough to not settle for someone who wasn't 100% happy with me...it's easier said than done, as it has taken me years to do it, but think about it.. why be with someone, who is happier with someone else?

yes....why would I want someone to be with me if they were not happy. I'd much rather be in a relationship with someone who is as happy as I am be with them as they are to be with me. It would be hard to let go but it bets being in a fake relationship
